This two-story charmer, quietly located across from Carlsbad Outlet stores, a short walk to the Carlsbad Beach and located two minutes from Legoland entrance. La Costa golf course was also 10 minutes away. A friend recommended this hotel he stayed at this hotel for his spa company. Our three day stay was very enjoyable, the hotel has a nice theme centered around a Dutch Windmill that can be seen off interstate 5 in any direction. Our Family loved the welcome service from the hotel staff, their knowledge of the local area, the over sized guest rooms as well as the heated pool. My wife and I enjoyed the extra large health club at the hotel that was great to use after walking each morning to the beach. The hotel also provided free meals for our three sons at Fridays which is part of the hotel. Our sons enjoyed the the large heated pool, Legoland and Fridays. My wife loved the shopping across the street and of course I loved the golf. Price wise we got a real deal for location, service and room quality. Hotel is nicely landscaped and well kept we recommend you don't miss out on this two story charmer.
