Best

Have to try the steamed momos. Momo's are dumplings and this place has the best dumplings hands down in the city. Pros: Dumplings are the Best!

Tibetan short stop 6/3/2010

I haven't been here in a while but have been meaning to stop by. Last time I was here the place looked aweful, dirty walls with peeling paint. It makes you want to run out instead of sitting in. The space is small yes, but the architecture is way wrong. To use the restroom, you have to go behind the counter into the open kitchen. Awkward.\r Now the food: Really, the momos are the selling point. I didn't like the veggie momos - too dry and not enough spices, but the potato momos are the best. Very filling, hot, and moist with yellow salty sweet mashed potatoes in steamed dough. Just writing this gives me a craving. The noodle soups are nothing special and largely forgettable.\r \r I do hope that they have improved or will improve the decor and overall cleanliness. Pros: potato momos, price Cons: atmosphere more

Sort of bland, but I'd go back if I were in the area and didn't have anything better in mind. I've certainly had worse Indian food. more

Don't be fooled by the bare-bones decor of this mom-and-pop spot. Though it feels like a sparsely decorated living room, the cafe is famous for its authentic Tibetan cuisine. The...
