Homemade & delicious! 11/23/2011

Hilltop is a gourmet's delight & I highly recommend it. My husband & I LOVED the quiche, pot pie, and soups, all homemade and flavorful - not salty. George, the owner, is a chef who obviously loves what he does & takes pride in his creations. Great menu selections reasonably priced, immaculate place, warm & friendly atmosphere, & made from scratch delicacies. This was a lucky find - places like this are few & far beween! We can't wait to go back next time we are in the area! more

Ever See A Cheeseburger The Size Of A Belgian Waffle 10/12/2006

If a tasty, healthy breakfast or lunch is important for your health, then you must try the Hilltop Cafe. Ever had homefries that were greasy and undercooked? Not at the Hilltop Cafe. These are the crispiest, lightest, tastiest homefries in the area. Want a huge variety of Country, Italian, Greek, or Vegetarian omelettes, search no more! If you want to drink robust coffee (without a burned taste) first thing in the morning, find it at the Hilltop Cafe. Co-owner George and his Family have culinary training that includes the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York City. Sautees are his forte. In fact, if you "think" you've tasted marinated chicken before, then you must try the marinated chicken here. Burgers are huge and made from healthy angus beef. Salads are fresh and delicious. Let's also recognize the prompt, cheerful, experienced servers that brighten up your day. Go ahead. Beat the noon rush. Wake up with the roosters and race over to the Hilltop Cafe where your meal is an extraordinary experience. Thank you George and Family for making a commitment to quality! more

I agree with the second review!! Everything was delicious.I will be willing to pay their prices anytime because their portions are HUGE!! It's rare to find a place with great tasting food, but it's even more rare to find a place where the staff is friendly and accommodating.Kudos to the owners Anna and George. It takes a great team to pull that off!!! more

I suggest everyone should try this place because it reminds me of Cheers everyone knows your name - you instantly become a regular customer . My husband and I have tried many places but this one takes the cake. oh yeah the homefries are delicious YUM... more

Hilltop Cafe 10/7/2006

We visited a newly opened restaurant today. Hilltop cafe on Little Road New Port Richey Fl. We were immediately greeted and asked where we would like to sit. A server (Jenna) came to our table and took our drink order. We knew Jenna from another restaurant that we had used. She is always pleasant and cheerful. We looked at the menu and both decided on the one egg, with home fries and wholewheat toast. Cost $1.85. More epensive than some other restaurants. When our breakfast came we could see why the price. It was a big plate full. Plenty of home fries (They were great) and the toast was 2 large slices. It more than satisfied me. The restaurant is new and well laid out. It can cater for small parties of people. It also has a large menu for breakfast and lunch. They have low cholesterol breakfast. On checking the menu I did notice that the pancakes were expensive. One pancake for $1.65. The owner had a very pleasant attitude and checked on us to make sure everything was good. The opening times are Monday - Friday 6am - 2pm. Saturday 6.30am - 2pm and Sunday 7am - 2pm. Give them a try you will be very happy and satisfied. more
