I wish Hill's Kitchen was my kitchen. A great store to add to your must shop places. Located just off of the Eastern Market metro next to Barrack's row, HK is an instant foodie favorite. Whether you like cooking yourself or need to find that perfect gift for the grill master, this store has something for everyone. While restricted by its size to own every product and tool you you might find at a megastore, it quickly meets your expectations with its well planned product selection and quality inventory. And while you might expect some smaller stores to have higher prices due to the limitations in the wholesale buyer idea, HK maintains a price point that is not only competitive but sometimes hard to walk away. (Just this week, they had a sale on some high end stainless steel cooking ware...difficult to not buy it all up!).
The employees are always helpful - although it might be considered a boutique shop they come across as friendly, interested and genuine. They want to make sure you find the perfect spatula or salt
