Surprisingly delightful dinner 5/4/2009

My husband and I dined at the HighPoint on Sunday night, 05/03/09. To say we were surprised by the quality of the food is an understatement. The service, ambience and food were superb. The price paid for dinner was completely within reason. I recommend this restaurant without any qualms. more

Only 1 complaint listed on BBB 2/12/2009

This restaurant is a wonderful restaurant and if you take time to go to the BBB website you can see that there has only been one complaint lodged in the last 36 months. One of the reasons it has a C rating is that they do not have enough information on it. Please check it out for yourself. C is not based on complaints as James H. would have you believe. more

Classy, Great Atmosphere 4/23/2006

This is a great place to eat. It has a lot of history which also makes it fun. The restaurant is set in a 1929 mansion, presumably financed by Al Capone. Enough about the history the food is EXCELLANT!!! I love their Coconut Fried Shrimp With pineapple honey mustard. They are sooooo good. They also have wonderful salads. This is a must see place if you are in the Monteagle area. I do have to warn you it is a bit on the pricey side, but it is so worth it. more
