GOOD AND CARING STAFF 5/8/2011

I have go there 2 times, unfortunately in those times my dogs were extremely sick that they couldn't make it, but the doctors were very sensitive and caring, also they do have reasonable prices and I even found there a ASPCA booklet about pet health insurance which they accept there so after enrolling i will keep taking my pet there; I had three dogs now I'm left with one :'( more

Understanding... 1/6/2009

This hospital is understanding when it comes to financial difficulties and tries hard not to overcharge. They also try to build a personal relationship with their clients. more

Best Veterinarian Team in Charlotte 12/12/2008

Dr. Huskey, Dr. Matheson and Dr. Kappers are incredible at Hickory Grove. They have always treated each one of my dogs with personal, professional and customized care and are extremely knowledgeable about veterinarian medicine. I have quite ""special"" dogs and they always make accommodations to care each one of them individually. All staff at the hospital are incredibly friendly and know each owner and their animals by name. You can always count on a friendly face and experience and excellent quality veterinarian care at Hickory Grove. They also have very reasonable prices for their services. Pros: Definite Thumbs Up! more

Sensitive and caring 12/1/2006

My neighbors dog was attacked by two other dogs. It was bad. Hickory Grove is my vet and close to where we live, so I called them and they told us of course to bring him in immediately. We did. Unfortunately, there was nothing that could be done.\r \r The support and kindess of the staff at Hickory Grove made all the difference in making a horrific situation somewhat more bearable. I appreciate the kindess and consideration they showed me and my neighbors. I have been taking my own dogs there for years. more

Best animal hospital ever 10/29/2006

I have 3 pitt bulls most vets would be intimidated but they treat my 3 just like they were poodles. They show much affection and exam your pet very thoroughly. the Drs and staff are very friendly and personable. They know all my dogs by name. Very reasonably priced as well. Thats real good when you have more than 1 pet. Pros: Total thumbs up more

Wonderful staff, very caring, helps you to your car, holds the door open, etc. 9/16/2006

Several of the staff members have been there a long time. That makes a big difference when you walk in and they know who you are and your pet. The are very thorough, some vets barely look at your pet, my pet got a complete look over for sure. I also like it because the staff is ""down to earth"", able to talk with them very easily, withou feeling like I am taking up too much of there time. Great!!! Give them a call and take your pet to my vet!! Pros: staff and service wonderful Cons: nothing yet more

Awesome Vet! 12/7/2005

I have moved my dog from vet to vet because I haven't completely been satisfied with the service until I went to Hickory Grove. The office is very clean and cute and the staff is awesome and very knowledgable. I would definately recommend taking you pet here! PS-Maddex (my boxer) loves it too!! Pros: Clean, Great Staff, Not Badly Priced more

very good vet reasonable price. 11/14/2005

We took our Jack Russell Terrier on 11-12. The office was clean with a comfortable waiting area. We were seen on time. The vet was good even though my dog tried to bite him. We had a full exam, poopy exam and heartworm test, heartworm medicine, and a sample bag of eukanuba dog food and a greenie for under $100. I will definately use them again the next time I need vet service. Pros: good vet, good service, good value Cons: I did not find any more

Caring 8/18/2005

Dr. Huskey and her staff are fantastic! They are caring, pleasant and very professional. Very obvious they love their work and are kind to not only the animals but the owners, too. When we had to put our male tabby cat down I couldn't have asked for better treatment for him or myself. They even sent a nice card to the family. Have had to go through this in the past with other clinics and never been treated as thoughtfully and professionally as this one. more
