Dr. Trussell is by far the best vet I've ever met. She has been my vet for more than 4 years. I lost my Jack Russell Terrier 12 1/2 year old due to a very large tumor. \r \r Dr. Trussell had referred my dog to an imaging specialist who said there was NOTHING that could be done for my dog, except, to put her down. Dr. Trussell took a chance at saving my baby girl and did surgery. Even though there was very little chance of success. \r \r I've also boarded my "baby girl" with Heritage Veterinary. They really took care of her. They were even more than happy to take my calls when I would call and check up on her! \r \r There prices are reasonable too!\r \r Even though she passed away after surgery, Dr. Trussell at least tried to save her and gave me some hope. When I had decided upon cremating my dog, she had recommended an option to put her ashes in a "garden rock" instead of the traditional box urn. She is very compassionate and empathetic! The staff is just as great as she is. Highly recomme more

Don't take your sick animal anywhere else. We started our sick cat adventure at another clinic which we will not mention and after 3 days and several hundred dollar later nothing had changed and now the Doctors were recommended euthanasia. While trying to keep face at work one of my co-workers said I needed a second opinion and suggested Dr. Trussell. She made a call to her clinic and within mins. she had talked with Dr.Trussell and she said she would have no problem looking over Twinkie's history if I the owner called and got the records faxed over from the clinic he was at. Within a couple hours they had reviewed the history and explained to me things that they would do to get a better idea of his values and diagnosis Don't get me wrong we like the vet we go to but after hearing their analysis, it felt like they just don't have the same experience as Heritage Veterinary Hospital. Dr. Trussell is wonderful. She is caring, sweet, professional and so very knowledgeable. She helped save my puppies life by diagnosing his problem and fixing it when I spent months and hundreds of dollars somewhere else. Her staff is SUPER!!! They all care so much and are all so friendly. We have also boarded our *baby* here and feel very comfortable leaving our puppy in such good hands. I would recommend this place above any other vet around!! :) more
