We were fortunate to be able to take advantage of Mark's Groupon deal, but definitely got more than our money's worth. Met for a photo shoot at the Japanese Garden at Fabyan Forest Preserve, upon Mark's recommendation. We took family group shots, individual shots of both kids and pictures of my husband and me, all in less than one hour. We love the results. Even though it wasn't our intention, we will be using the pictures of my daughter for her senior picture. Just beautiful results, and Mark was very fun to work with as well. Kept the kids laughing even though it was a pretty muggy, buggy day. Highly recommend Mark Hensel Photography for both family portraits as well as senior photos. more

A Personal, Creative Professional 9/26/2010

We found Mark's studio through an internet search for senior portrait photographers. My daughter and I loved the gallery of portraits on his website and contacted him for a consultation. Seeing his work on the walls in his studio confirmed we were in the right place. His work is touching, and captures beauty in image and emotion. more

Perfect! 8/6/2010

We chose Mark to photograph our wedding last month. We can't possibly express how pleased we are! Mark was charismatic, fun, and very professional. He was honestly a pleasure to have there. We received many, many positive comments from guests about him -- everyone loved him! The caliber of his work is astounding. You would be doing yourself a GREAT service to meet with him and check out his portfolio in person. The pictures turned out more amazing than we could have ever expected. We are recommending Mark to everyone we know! Best wedding decision we have made, by far! more

Mark Hensel was my photographer for my wedding, I truely couldn't have asked for a more friendly, goodlooking, creative, and talented person to be apart of the crazy wedding day blitz. He does incredible work and is super easy to work with. You truley have no way of being dissappointed with the product you pay for from him. It is incredible that I have these beautiful pictures to remember my once in a lifetime day all because of Mark. Reviewing all 1500 of them I can't say there is even 1 bad in the bunch, it will be very hard to narrow them all down for my album because they are all soooo great! He really knows how to capture a moment! more

Mark Hensel came to our house and took amazing pics. He is amazing. Made our crazy old house seem like a perfect background. Mark made our boys super comfortable and made it an enjoyable experience. Completely captured the essence of our family. No stuffy, forced poses. Pros: No stuffy poses more
