Never EVER going back. BBQ??? Everything on the menu was either fried (most of it), rotisserie or flat top grilled. Where's the BBQ? The chicken was overcooked and dry. The mashed potatoes and gravy tasted like it came from a microwave dinner. The coleslaw looked regurgitated. My husband had to choke the chicken down with the gravy. We're a little bit foodie-ish and try new restaurants all of the time... this was a huge disappointment. If you like good food, go somewhere else. more

I Give Hen House BBQ Six Stars 10/11/2009

Great atmosphere. The waitress couldn't do enough for me. She made sure I had everything I needed. The food is outstanding. I drive 30 minutes to get the Hen House BBQ and have never been disappointed. If you haven't tried their Chicken and Ribs, your missing out on something special. Pros: Best Chicken and Ribs I've ever had. more

Best Ribs in Connecticut Nothing Close 10/7/2009

Service was friendly and warm. Ribs were meaty, and tasty . Fried chicken was moist and flavorful. some times we drive here for the fixn's they are so fresh, Ron says he makes them fresh everyday. I highly recomend this place, I been here about a dozen times and never been disappointed ever. Pros: Awesome Ribs, Great Fried Chicken, and Fixns Cons: Nothing more
