Heaven On Earth

When my daughter and I saw Heaven on Earth, we knew this was the place for her wedding. Our first introduction to this wonderful place was a year before her special day. They showed us each room we would be able to use and explained everything about the expenses. There were no surprises when the bill arrived. I talked several times to Sandi, the wedding coordinator and Nelda, the flower coordinator before the actual wedding day. When the day arrived, I was amazed how organized they both were. I had been told by many people that I needed to make a list of pictures that I wanted to be taken at the wedding. I didn't have to say anything. Randy had everything taken care of. From the minute we walked in, we had a photographer taking pictures until we left. Cakes by Gina did an amazing job. The cakes were beautiful and tasted great. Our food came from Cafe Natalie. It was hot and very tasty. Usually weddings are quite stressful. My husband and I were not stressed at all. Everyone who was in charge did a great job! Our only job was to have a great time! I have other daughters that will be getting married some day. I would definitely consider another wedding at Heaven On Earth. Several of the guests told us that this was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to. I feel the same way. Pros: Beautiful setting inside and out more

Hi, I am Randy the Photographer and my company does the video at Heaven On Earth. I was made aware of the review above. I immediately made another edit of the video with the Mic muted on the minister for the points the groom mentioned and fed-ex'd it to him right away. I was hoping he would mention here that I had corrected the problem. If he had mentioned it when he received the video I would have corrected it at that time. I did not hear the clearing of the throat that he mentions in his review. I was able to hear it when I went back and listened for it. Pros: Video corrected more

The Venue was Great, The View was Great, However in my opinion the supporting cast, management and bar-tender ruined it for me as the groom. Especially considering that I paid for one of the upper tier packages I do not feel I got what I paid for! As the Groom I felt rushed and the drama over beer and wine I encountered almost ruined it for me! I sucked it up and bit my tongue for my wife?s sake, however here I will let it be known! I attended a wedding at Heaven on Earth and was very please with the facility until the reception started. They had an officer from Missouri City working named Lampe that placed a chair next to the bar and was counting the amount of drinks that different guess drank. He then started harassing different guess about the amount that they had drank and this all lead to allot of uncomfortably and guest leaving early. It is just a shame that one man made such a negative impact on the newly weds special day and ruined the reception for most of the guest. I've attended 2 weddings at this location and they were BOTH beautiful. The plantation is awesome. This is a very unique place to have a wedding. You won't be disappointed! Pros: All-inclusive, beautiful!, excellent service Cons: What are the drawbacks? more
