DISCRIMINATES AGAINST SPECIAL NEEDS KIDS
By Melissa G., Yourself | insider_expert Insider Expert | Rank: 1,831
My friend tried to book her 5 year old son's birthday party here and they told her that they do not allow the parents in the gym with the kids during the party.so she mentioned to them that two of the kids coming to the party are autistic and only 3 years old, meaning they might need their parents with them in the gym. The director of the gym telephoned her back informing her they will not allow the two autistic kids to attend her sons birthday party!!
they said they just could not handle any special needs children at their gym.
smells like discrimination to me, bordering on illegal. needless to say, my friend did not book her party there.
With the growing rate of autistic children in this country, Head Over Heels Gymnastics had better get their act together and start being more accepting of special needs kids. We are all boycotting this place and I don't advise any parent to enroll their child in a facility that is so politically incorrect.
They should be ashamed of themselves.
