This is a great KC barbecue place. In addition to the restaurant, they have a catering venue next door. The restaurant is a casual, quiet place. They also have a small bar and carry out area. The carry out area is nice since they have an area that you can sit and wait. Nothing fancy, just some good KC barbecue at this place. more

Hayward's Pit Bar-B-Que 8/20/2005

This is one of the most well know KC area Barbecue places. Mr. Hayward himself frequents the restaurant, so you are bound to see him around. Their food is excellent, service is fine and the atmosphere is casual and fun. This is one of my favorite places to eat and drink a good beer. more
