Hayden's Auto

I called Hayden's 9 times (verified in my phone history). I got through to him 3 times, left 3-4 messages. He never returned any of my messages and every time I spoke with him he refused to schedule an appointment. Instead he told me to call back "in the morning" or "2 O'clock." And who would guess that when I called at the times he indicated he didn't answer. I understand you might be busy, but at least have the courtesy to return phone calls or set a concrete time for something as simple as an inspection. I ended up just going there after work with my car...Had to leave it over night (that's fine). When I returned the next day he gave me an overview of some issues with the car, but instead of being patient and courteous to a customer he was more concerned with getting back to working on his roof. You won't see me returning there. Especially with his overuse of "yuh." I don't even think he was listening to me half the time as I was discussing options with him. I think I'd rather deal with a condescending auto-tech than one in the early stages of dementia. What a waste of a week. more

Hayden's Auto is a small shop and part used car dealership. The man who owns the place is really nice and does a great job. It does take a little longer for the repairs to take place, but hes very fair reasonable. Does a great job explaining things as well, as opposed to just handing you a bill with the work listed on it. more

This shop is very reasonably priced, very fair when it comes to repairs and inspections. He is usually busy, so it can sometimes be hard to get in for an appointment. It is a one man operation, so you have to expect that everything is going to take a little longer then going to a big shop. He is also in the business of selling a very small selection of used cars, and from the looks of them they are quality automobiles. If you have the time, and want to support local business, I would recommend that you give him a try next time you are looking for service on your vehicle. more
