We hire Daryl Hawk as our wedding photographer in August of 2012. Daryl and his team provided us excellent service and we were pleased with the outcome of the pictures. Daryl was easy to work with and answered all of our questions. We didn't have to worry about anything before or during our wedding day because Hawk Photography handled it all. We have been having a hard time deciding which photos to use for our wedding albums because we have over 750 pictures to choose from...and they are all great shots! Hawk Photography is really amazing! You can stop searching and just pick this studio as your next wedding photographer! After searching the internet and closely examining multiple photographers I decided to meet with Daryl. I loved his work and found his packages to be extremely affordable. His personality was easy going and flexible and he was very open to hearing about my ideas and needs for the wedding day. He walked me around his property where he normally does the engagement sittings. The rock and flower gardens, woods, and pond with a waterfall were all spectacular. Needless to say we had more than enough photographs to choose from after the session. He also delivered the entire enlargement order to us in less than a week! On the wedding day itself, Daryl was friendly and very professional. The guests were all raving about him and excited to see all of the photographs online 10 days later. Even though it started to drizzle during the portrait session he was still able to come up with breathtaking photographs with beautful light in every shot. One thing I learned from Daryl is not to let the rain stop you. When it came to the reception he blended right in and was very unobtrusive throughout the entire event. His artistic eye is wonderful and he not only captured the events of the day but the entire energy and vibe of it all. His positive attitude is a real blessing on a wedding day when people tend to be tense to begin with. We got compliments all night long on how wonderful Daryl was. I would like to commend Hawk Photography for the amazing job they did at photographing and videotaping our wedding this past July! Daryl, Tom and Glenn captured every little detail throughout the day and evening in an imaginative and photojournalistic style that truly tells a great story of our wedding from beginning to end. I emphasized to Daryl when I first met with him that I did not want many staged and posed photos and wanted to spend every minute enjoying my wedding. The Hawk team enthusiastically complied and still got terrific and expressive portraits that really brought out the beauty in the park-like setting of our reception. I also loved they way the mixed some black and white shots in with the mostly color ones. Some photos had both color and black and white in the same shot! Their years of experience certainly could be seen at our wedding and all of our guests are really enjoying seeing the photos on Hawk's online gallery. I would also like to add that the turn around time on the prints, cd-rom and online viewing was remarkable. Everything was ready for us one week after the wedding! This past May Daryl Hawk of Hawk Photography took our engagement sitting in his beautiful rock and flower gardens and then photographed our wedding in July. We could not be more pleased with the amazing photographs he took as well as his services in general. With over 500 pictures to choose from we will have a hard time narrowing it down since we now plan on ordering a wedding album. His natural photojournalistic style and easy going personality matched our needs perfectly and everyone at the wedding kept commenting how he always seemed to be in the right place at the right time capturing another moment of our wedding day. We also gave him quite an extensive supplementary photo list and not only did he manage to get every photograph on the list but he also went out of his way to check in with us throughout the day to see if there were any other guests who we wanted a picture with. The weather was also a bit of a challenge and Daryl assured us that he would still be able to get beautiful portraits of everyone even by having his assistant holding an umbrella over us periodically! What I also loved about Hawk's style so much was that he did not pose or stage anything during the reception. We were able to enjoy every minute of it while he photographed every important aspect in an extremely unobtrusive way. At times he would try to get our attention a little bit while we were on the dance floor just to make sure the picture would show both of our faces clearly. more

We got married in October 2010 and absolutely love our photos from Hawk Photography! Our photographer was punctual, patient, creative, and very pleasant to work with. All of the photos we asked for were captured along with photos that I would have never even considered. They all look fabulous! Our ceremony shots are beautiful with pictures of the church and our families. We wanted to be at our cocktail reception and were very pleased with how quickly we got our portraits and special family photos taken.. Our reception was by the water and we love how the ocean and natural light are captured in our photos. We also love how so many special moments were caught in candid shots. We had the good fortune of using Hawk Photography for our wedding this past spring. Their creativity, attention to details on the wedding day, and easy going personality made the day go so smoothly. We love the photos that were done in sepia tone as well as the ones that combined color and black and white both in the same image! The variety of photographs that they took was one of the reasons why we booked them in the first place. My Wife and I booked Hawk Photography after viewing several of his wedding albums, well in advance of our wedding. They say that you learn from your mistakes and this was one of the biggest mistakes we ever made. When we scheduled with Hawk we also booked engagement pictures with him at a nice park just down the road from his studio. After calling to go and shoot our engagement pictures a few months later, he stated that he would not take our pictures anywhere other then the ""garden"" in his back yard! He refused to take our pictures at the park (which he recommended). We had to pay another photographer to take our engagement pics. more
