I just finished enjoying my second dinner at Hatsuhana Park. The first time, back in September, was very good. Tonight's meal was spectacular. I was almost alone at the sushi bar, and had a chef virtually to my own. I split the meal between omakase and ordering a few favorites. The fish was incredibly fresh. The sake (salmon) was probably the best I ever had. Kudos also to the uni and ikura. The hamachi was a bit more firm than I generally like it, but it tasted great nonetheless. The service was professional, and the chef extremely friendly. I will definitely return.
Pros: Fish, fish, fish... yum!!
Cons: Not the greatest environment, and a bit expensive, but it's NYC
