This local hat shop made news when they changed leases and relocated across the street from their old location. Instead of renting a van they carried the hats from the old location to the new location. This was a few years ago. But it made quite the scene in Georgetown. They have all kinds of hats for both men and women. Joke hats, safari hats, beanies, pretend-you're-going-to-Ascot-for-the-Races-hats. They have it all! And they don't mind you trying-on every single one. That's been my experience. They used to have two locations, one in Georgetown, the other in Old -Town Alexandria.
