Hart Tv Repair

I have, over the years, had 2 TV repairs done by this company and was very well pleased with work ethic, quality and price. I never had a problem contacting them either. Now I have another TV that needs a repair. I'm going to call them in the am. I will post on how it goes. more

Mr. hart showed up and assesed my tv. He tells me it needs a new power board and it will cost $350. $200 for a new power board and $150 for the labor and service call. I agree, pay $80 for the service call and he returns 3 days later and fixes the tv and collects $270. 4 weeks later, my tv picture goes out. Once again Mr. Hart showes up and asseses my tv. He tells me the tv needs a new sustain board and it will cost, yep, you guessed it, $350. I agree and pay him for the service call, NEVER to hear from him again! I called and left him messages for over a month with no response. I ended up finding a specialist to fix my tv, who informed me that the ""NEW"" power board was not only old, but it was also from another tv. He also informed me that even a new power board only costs around $87. I ended up having to drop by Mr. Hart's shop and confront him, where he told me he didn't see anything wrong with lying to me about the price and the board and he was just trying to make a living! $350 for an old, used part and 15 minutes worth of work sound like a pretty good living to me... more

Larry came out and picked my TV up after I got home from work, when most companies stop making house calls. He had to load my big screen up and take it back to his shop. Took 2 weeks to get the parts and he delivered it and set it back up for me. It was a fair price in a tough market. I am glad there is still small town business men like Mr. Hart still around. Pros: Honest, Friendly, and Fair more

I agree with the other reviewer. I have been trying to contact this company for 2 months, leaving message after message. They were recommended by my mechanic, who swears he received great service from them. I even left that info on one of my voice mails. Cons: doesn't return customer calls more

Do not call this company if you are really looking to have your tv repaired. They will tell you that they have a combined total of many years in the business and know how to fix every brand of television out there, but they really don't. They are lacking in customer service skills, follow up calls are non existant and it's hard to even get someone on the phone to find out when your tv will be fixed. After three weeks of waiting, I still don't have a working tv. But they do have my money. more
