Hard Rock Live Orlando

Yes, this venue can be a bit of an inconvenient location to get to, but honestly in Orlando it takes a long time to get anywhere! I honestly liked that it was in the Universal City Walk. Though it was a bit crowded (as expected in the evening during the summer), I was able to have a good choice of places to eat and hang out before going to the venue before my concert. I cannot review what it would be like to pay for a seat since I experienced my time there in the pit. The sound definitely sounded great when you're standing directly in front of the bands. I appreciated that this was a bit of a smaller venue, so that the AC could definitely be felt. Even with people pushing on me the entire time to get closer to the stage, I barely broke a sweat. This place is majorly inconvenient because it is located inside the Universal Studios. To get in, you have to go through the whole "parking in a giant amusement park" thing, driving through parking lots until you are directed by the parking lot staff into the next open row designated for parking, then walking and standing in lines and walking and walking some more. Depending on how crowded the park is on the day of your concert, it may be anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour and a half between the time you drive your car through the park gates and the time you are standing at the doors to the venue. Once there, you will be efficiently (if not always politely) directed to your seat (or into the large pit). The venue is not designed with music lovers in mind. The acoustics are terrible and it's practically impossible to have a spot from where you can comfortably SEE the band, no matter how much you pay. more
