Dr Hansen is a very poor listener, he is rushed, and he addresses his patients in a very belittling way. He wants to set up some boutique practice where he wanted me to pay him a retainer (which I did) and then he was not available and would not return my calls during the only time I had a question about chest pains. He makes poor eye contact and seems puzzled by common symptoms. I really don’t have much good to say and I generally have positive relationships with my doctors (I have written only good reviews so far). Please avoid him. Maybe he has a problem with greed, I don’t know, but he does not care for his patients. Also, he hired a company to improve his online ratings, I overheard his office manager talking about it. more

Dr. Lindsay Hansen is a board-certified internist in Las Vegas. In all my 77 years, I have not before encountered a physician who listens and who does leisurely consultations, which far being lectures to dolts are lively, interactive interchanges. He is not a specialist in the sense that he only wants to treat patients with problems in their left pinky finger. He is a generalist who seems to know at least something -- and most of the time, quite a bit -- about even the most arcane medical subjects. I recall an early ad campaign, the slogan of which was: ""You're in good hands with Allstate"". The same can be said of Dr. Hansen -- and in spades. He is also served by a superior staff -- people who are at once knowledgable and compassionate. more

Five stars is an understatement. I don?t have any significant medical problems, but I have left far too many doctors? offices with the feeling that I had not had a complete encounter. Too many times I have left a doctors? office wanting to ask, ?Was that it?? I went through that experience in L.A. with about six other doctors before I found my previous ?real? doctor ? and I kept him for twenty years. I never thought I could hope to find a doctor that might compare to previous internist... but I did! Dr. Hansen is extremely knowledgeable and thorough. His clinical skills are superior. I trust him and I trust his wonderful office staff. He explains things(!!!) and I know I can count on him. Ironically, I almost moved back to Southern California. I was able to convince my wife that we should stay in Las Vegas because ? well ? the best doctor I have ever known is here in Las Vegas. more

Finally, a physian who is truly focused on practicing wellness. Dr. Hansen is young enough (probably mid-40s) to be well-trained in modern medicine, and experienced enough to continue the search for any improvements in technology and pharma. Not only were the doctor and his staff incredibly rude, but he later disclosed information about my visit to another patient, and referred to another of his patients as a ""nut"". He also did not have current information about newer medicines and treatments (was not familiar with the nuvaring, or cingulair as a treatment for allergies). This guy is bad news! more
