There was electrical work that was not done on my dome light. I was allowed to pay for part of the repairs I requested, and take my car. I will be back today to see if the dome light can be repaired. more

Visiting our daughter again in Vermont, our 2000 Suburban with 225,086 miles was squeaking and rattling. Rather than get the car repaired in New Jersey, we took it again to Charlie at Handy's Service Center. We know we can always count on Charlie to get our car repaired quickly and competently! We needed new parking brake cables, shoes and lining. With Charlie's help we hope to reach 300,000 miles with this car! Thank you Charlie, Shawn, Frank, and Houston more

It was a very expensive repair for me - so much was done to repair my cars 2 problems- the clunking of the gas pedal was fixed- also, the vibration under the front end has been fixed but unfortunately the loose clunking at the drivers side front Left & the clunking in the rear back right end are still happening- I was hoping for all the problems to be resolved but I am still fearful to drive very far w my civic- ( the clunking sounds have put a damper on my summer travel plans- I had hoped to have my car humming right along after the amount of work that was done on my car over 5 days at handys garage) more

Prompt service! 7/10/2017

I was stranded with flat tire and had to call tow service. Handy tow guy arrived at the scene within no time. Reasonable tow service cost and mechanics are pro as well. They do the diagnostic screening correctly, at least they did correctly of my car. Thanks more

Fake car registration corrections 7/2/2017

Went in to get registered because jiffy lube was busy.already had tires changed (because jiffy lube told me the only thing wrong with it was the front tires were bad,thus the only thing stopping me from getting registered)they tell me i don't pass because my brake line and fuel lines are bad.but they took no pictures or put it into the computer, like law says they are supposed to.went back to jiffy lube,they proved handys was lying.im waiting Monday to see if i can file suit in court. more

They might lacking parking but certainly not lacking service. Friendly guys when you walk in and I've gotten great service there both times I've been. I will definitely go again. more

Great! 3/23/2017

Someone slashed a bunch of tires in our neighborhood one night and two of them were mine. Handy's got here in 10 minutes from the time I called, took my car to the shop, put on new tires whole I ate a sandwich and I was on my way. Couldn't be better. more

So helpful and kind! 3/3/2017

I was about $50 short on my bill and they still did the repair and wrote off the last $50! I had been sitting downtown all day with a blown radiator with an infant just roaming the mall!! They were so helpful and tried their hardest to figure out why it blew!! I will be going back there! more

I love the people who work at Handy's. They are very friendly and make sure to tell you what the cheapest, but most reliable way to go with your car will be. They are fast and they do an excellent job. This is the place I will always go for my car repairs! more

Proceed with caution 1/10/2017

Worst Customer Service 12/8/2016

I brought my car in for an inspection, which it passed. Came to pick it up and it was dead. I drive a Prius, a dead battery is cause for a lot of concern. After an attempt to jump and it still wouldn't turn on I left it over night so a mechanic could check it out tomorrow. I had to call them in the morning to find out what was going on. Apparently, "it started right up, no problems." I asked what happened the previous evening and they couldn't give me an answer. Just said it was fine now. Didn't offer a diagnostic text to check anything, didn't offer an explanation and it was clear they weren't going to. They don't care about your car, your time or making sure you know what's going on. Don't go here! And to the jerks who work there, I know you know what was wrong and don't want to admit a mistake. And I know you didn't drive my car around at all, the mileage hadn't changed even one mile. So answer me this, why was my car in a different position when I picked it up? You didn't drive it around and it started right up... hmm.... more

Really helpful, very fast, and everything that was once a problem in my car is now in working order! I felt like everyone there knew what they were doing, and were very upfront in communication which I find especially helpful. Thank you guys so much! I'll definitely come back whenever my car needs a tune up or has an issue again! more
