Hana Sushi is probably our favorite delivery food. The sushi is tasty and interesting. The Korean food is delicious. The delivery guys are fast, friendly, and never get lost. It's where we turn to for our late-night food needs. more

This restaurant has been going down hill for the last year, but tonight was the last night I ever order from them... First, my order was 30 minutes late. This is about normal for this restaurant, so if you want their food, order 2 hours ahead of time. I live within half a mile of this place too! Second, my Sake Don was very mediocre. I asked for extra wasabi, and they complied generously. But when I opened the container that contained my Caterpillar roll (rolled way too loosely) and my Tuna sashimi, I almost threw it down. The fish was rotten!! I'm not talking about a little "off"--it smelled like they'd pulled it out of last night's garbage!! And rotting tuna has a slightly "sour cream and onion" scent, so the roll absorbed the flavor. When it comes to raw fish, there's high quality and low quality...and then there's DANGEROUS. This stuff is parasite material. They've obviously begun cutting costs to the point that they're endangering customers. I'll never order from Hana again. more

Very good food! I was in a pinch since my usual sushi place was no longer accepting orders for the night, so I ordered for delivery from Hana very close to closing time. I wasn't sure what kind of quality to expect, since it was so late, but the sushi was fantastic and it was delivered in about 30 minutes! :) This will be my late-night delivery go-to. more

Let me start by saying I love the food at Hana Sushi. The sushi is fantastic, the fish is always fresh, and they have a few creative offerings (nothing crazy). Problem? Sloooooooooooooooow service. I live in the neighborhood and so get take out on occasion, but only when I know I can order at least an hour in advance. Each time I place an order for delivery I am quoted at least a 40 minute wait, and actual delivery averages ten to twenty minutes longer than estimated. If they had faster service I would order from them much more often. Even when eating in the restaurant, I have had to wait. Staff is always very apologetic for the wait... but it doesn't change the next time. Second problem (more minor) is phone service - it is often very difficult to understand and to be understood. While I take this as a sign of authenticity, it can make the ordering process difficult. Bottom line: definitely give it a go - you will enjoy it - but make sure you've got the time to wait. The prices are unusually high for a plain jane atmosphere. I actually almost left after looking at the menu... for some reason, i had to satisfy the sushi craving and decided to stay (plus I was in good company). The salmon sushi melted in my mouth, it was perhaps the best salmon I've had. Everything was fresh. The service was a bit slow, actually it seems as if the waitress was a bit of an airhead since she forgot something, then never really checked back with us. But I tell ya, it was worth it for that salmon. I'll go back, but unfortunately not as often as I would like... Maybe the owner will read this.. in that case.. There is nothing special about the sushi here, yet the prices are very inflated. Really fresh sushi should melt in your mouth. On a recent visit, the sushi chef made a mistake on my order and gave me inari sushi instead of ikura. He didn't even apologize! What's more, he had the nerve to make me come and get the plate from my table instead of asking a waiter to bring it to me. David is the friendliest host in the world, She is the owner who's always there and smiling, the sushi is always fresh and the beer is always ice cold.
