Hamburger Man

I was invited to a corporate party featuring The Hamburger Man. Only been in Dallas area for a few years, so I didn't know the treat I was in for. I walked up to the cooking station and saw the Hamburger Man grilling fresh, hamburger patties, hot dogs, and chicken. I haven't had an old fashioned grilled hamburger in so long that my mouth started watering. He grilled my order quickly and then I added whatever condiments I wanted. Thought I was in heaven. It tasted wonderful too. I want to know where he is going to be next so I can become good friends with whoever is hosting the party. And, just so you know, I am a vegetarian, but when it comes to Hamburger Man, I choose to fall off the wagon. Great job! more

I went to a Hamburger Man-catered event tonight. When I went up to get my burger I was alarmed to see the guy cooking burgers handling the raw meat (taking it in his gloved hands, slapping it onto the grill, smashing it with the spatula) and then right after that, with the same hand that he put the meat on the grill, he moved the buns around that were toasting right next to the meat. I couldn't eat a burger after that. It is disconcerting that the same person touching the raw meat is also touching the hamburger and hot dog buns. At least they can sear the spatula in between raw/cooked meat, but you can't stick your hand down on the grill! Two people need to work behind the grill, one handling uncooked meat, one handling cooked meat and assembling burgers. I'm hoping my kids don't get sick; they had already gotten their food by the time I saw this. more
