UPDATE, It is now 1/18/13 and my vehicle is still not registered in my name. I am calling them to find out why the vehicle still is not registered in my name with my tag. Of course when I called at 10:00am they did not pick up. Oh and the update on the temp tag, it did arrive the Wed. after 1/1/13. Okay great, finally made contact with the receptionist (She was actually very helpful) and she could not believe the vehicle was not registered in my name. She stated she would talk with Serge (Who should have been following up with the tag situationa long time ago) to find out if he can assist her in resolving the issue. I will keep you posted if anything changes. I made sure to let them know I am contacting them today 1/18/13 that way they can have 11 days to mail me a third temporary tag. Maybe they can mail it to me before the tag expires again (Crossing fingers).\r \r I purchased a car at this dealership, and thought it wasn't so bad. After waiting 32 days for my plate to be transferred, my temporary tag expired. I contacted them a week prior and they said wait until that friday and they would FedEx an overnight temp tag. Monday, 2 days after the tag expired and no tag. I called and talked to someone that identified himself as the Sales Manager, he said he would have to speak with the sales person. I am still waiting and I can't drive my car. In addition to the tag issue, the battery died after two weeks of owning the car. Now, the same sales manager that said he will find out about my temp tag...which he has not called back after 2 hours said he will refund the money for the battery. Let's see how that plays out, I can assure you I am not holding my breath. I planned on buying a second car, and thought about buying another one from this dealership, I can assure you that is not going happen now. Oh My God! I just got off the phone and it is 4:05PM on New Year's Eve, and they have not sent out a tag for me yet. The car will be parked for 5 days due to an expired tag. If you read these messages and still buy a car from this dealership, you deserve everything you get. This dealership is a joke, now what would happen if I don't make my payment for 5 days? I figured out based on my payments, the 5 days the car cannot be driven will add up to $305.xx. I will speak with an attorney to see if I can deduct that amount from the balance of the account. I will keep you posted on that. AGAIN, DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS PLACE BEFORE DOING YOUR HOMEWORK!!!!!! more

I purchased a used truck from this dealership. Biggest mistake I've ever made in any auto purchase. After 3 weeks they still have not paid off my trade in and I now have another payment due on it, this will either ruin my credit or begin the road to bankruptcy. The check engine light came on on the new vehicle. I took it to my mechanic and it needs $2000 worth of engine repairs. I purchased an extended warranty from this dealer. I didn't get a copy of the warranty paper work. When I called they finally faxed over a paper. When my mechanic called the warranty company it was never sent in or purchased. They have no record of it. I now have no vehicle, 2 car payments due, and no one at the dealership will call me back or help me in any way. They have no problem calling and asking for more money for the tag that wasn't included in the purchase. more

On 2/23/12 I allowed Haims Motors to submit my debit cards in the amount of 4,000.00 dollars as a partial down payment on a 2010 GMC Terrian. My father came the follwing evening 2/24/12 intending to sign for a loan. Upon reviewing the purchase agreement and installment contract we decided to take that evening to discuss what were now larger numbers that we had originally discussed. On Saturday 2/25/12 We dedcided that this vehicle was actually too expensive for us and asked for a refund of 4,000.00 dollars. We were told no refunds. We never signed for or took delivert of the vehicle. After being told I could have 3,000.00 dollars back I felt I was owed the full refund. On Tuesday 2/28/12 I went to the dealership to again try to obtain a full refund. I was taken into a saleroom by myself, my husband was not allowed in and made to feel very intimdated and I became emotional at which this point the manger who i was dealing with said he was going to give me a refund. He then handed me a check which was in the amount of 3,200.00 dollars. I accepted that check and signed an agreement to accept that amount because I felt intimidated and desperate to get at laest most of my deposit as I am now without a car. I was offered other vehicle but I will not have any further dealings with this company as they were very rude and unprofessional more

I brought a car a year ago and found out the car has frame damage and they disclose this information from me from the car fax. Now the car not worth sh!! Then they decided to trade in my old vehicle but Lied that I got approve for the car and they kept my down payment. So I walk away with a messed up vehicle and -1,000 from my savings. The managers their are very disrespectful and unprofessional. This business need to close soon!!!! more

We went to Haims to purchase a vehicle on June 20 because we had bad credit and a recent bankruptcy. We disclosed all this before even looking at vehicles and they assured us they could find a loan from a bank for us. We found a car we liked, worked out a deal and signed all the paperwork for the deal we agreed upon. ($4500 down, 208 weekly payments of $117.20) We drove the car off the lot and were happy with the transaction. The bank called a week or so later and verified all our information and bank accounts and told me they would be automatically deducting the payments from our bank account. On July 18, 30 days after signing the contract, Haims called us and told us the bank that had qualified us acctually rejected us. We had to go back down there and sign some new paperwork. They told us that we had to finance through Haims, and we either had to take the deal they offered ($4900 down, 42 monthly payments of $545.93) or loose the $4500 down payment we had already paid from the previous loan and surrender the vehicle. They increased our monthly payment almost $100 more than what we agreed upon and signed with our original contract. In addition, they required $400 more immediately as part of the down payment. Unfortunatley, we had no choice but to sign the papers as we need the vehicle for transportation to and from work and to transport our 3 children. We didn't have the money or time to look for another vehicle. Practices like these are not only dishonorable, but disgraceful. more

Jay Z. (Yes! That IS his name!) is the man to see at Haims Hollywood. Somehow he just made everything work for us and helped us even beyond what was expected. As customers, we felt that Jay had only our best interest in mind and it showed!! I would suggest giving HIM your business. I ended up with a beautiful black 2009 Pontiac Vibe thanks to Jay Z. HE'S THE MAN!!!! more

I purchased a car from Collin Lewis for $1700 drove it home with my wife behind me. She told me that the car was making a knocking sound.This was on Saturday 06/25/2011 Ok so he told me that I should get a tune up...OK fine so on my way to taking it for a tune up the car overheats and shuts down.This in the following Monday.The car is now at my mechanics shop with a blown head gasket (repair price $1900).I call Collin to tell him what happened and he says""I caan't do nothing for ya big man"".So I am stuck with a car that does'nt run and don't have the money to fix it.I am furious.I am tempted to go back down there and slap some people around until I get my issue resolved.However I know it will only create a bail and more expenses for me.....Do not deal with these con artist posing as car salesmen more

They are liars and thieves as stated on previous reviews. My experience is as follows: On May 25, 2011, I purchased a 2007 Mazda Miata for my son. I only had $1500.00 to put down ($800.00 in cash and $700.00 from my debit). I dealt with Raul (Sales Rep) who asked if I could come up with more money in 2 weeks as they were trying to push the loan through with $2500.00 down. I stated probably. The ""finance manager"" obtained a loan with Wells Fargo stating I had put $2000.00 down. I, in good faith, returned on 6/8/2011 to give them the additional 500.00 that I did not have on 5/25/2011. That day another sales rep stated I needed to give them an additional $500.00 to make the down payment of $2500.00. This is not on the signed retail installment sale contract. I received a call on 6/8/2011 stating my tag was in but that I owed $342.00 for it. This was to be included in the sale price. Thank God I have not had any real issues with the car except for a nail in a tire and not being able to remove the rim because the morons neglected to provide me with the wheel lock. I have filed a complaint with the better business bureau. Haims has 3 business listed on the BBB site, none of them accredited by the BBB and two of them with a grade F. Mostly for being ""lying, thieves"". I would highly recommend Carmax as well. As I purchased another vehicle from them in November and have not one complaint. HONESTLY HAIM'S DESERVES AN NEGATIVE 5 STARS. THIS IS HOW UNETHICAL THEY ARE. more

I wouldn't even give this place one star! Why give thieves any money, don't make the same mistake I made. I bought my car from this place, but it was the biggest regret ever made... despite other people telling me that I shouldn't give this place my money... guess what, I did and got screwed, so now I wish I would've listened to others, because they are all telling me ""told you so"" These people will tell you anything to sell the car, but beware, make them put everything in writing... better yet, just avoid this place all together!! THEY ARE NOT WORTH THE HEADACHES!!!! There is no helpful person in that office and I will not stop until I get my lawyers involved because these people are nothing but liars and scammers... AVOID!!! I believe the only people that give them any stars, probably work there!! PLEASE DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE I DID... The car and the headaches are NOT worth it. If this dealer gets 1 star you might as well buy your car from junkyard. When you are at their south location you will notice a newer fence with numerous signs that says 24 hour surveillance. I wonder why... Oh thats right, because they rip so many people off! Oh they will get you approved with bad credit....mine was ""BAD"" at 650, and your credit score will drop 50 points because they basically spam your info to every lowly high interest bank they do business with. They get kick backs from certain lenders. DO NOT GIVE THESE GUYS A DEPOSIT YOU WILL NOT GET IT BACK!!! Your down payment will not go toward the price of the vehicle it will go the the $255 registration fee and dealer fee etc. so basically, whatever you give them as a down payment will not go to the ""stated price"" of the vehicle or loan. It will go in their pockets. make sure you check out this site : carbuyingtipsdotcom/scams.htm After you ""buy"" your vehicle you will get a call from Jr or one of the other scam artists saying the bank is going to call you. He will need you to LIE TO THE BANK so they can approve your loan. He will instruct you on what say, like ""leather seats"" even though they are cloth. ""fully loaded"" even though it is the basic model etcetc all this stuff is covered in that website. Your vehicle you may have to get work done, 4 tires with slow leaks (2 weeks), bad wheel bearings (1 month), rebuild the dropped transmission ( 2.5 months for me). When you call them to advise them of your problems they will be very nice and ask you if you remember they sold it ""AS IS"". So be prepared to put out some cash after you drive the vehicle off their lot. The sales department is basically a bunch of vampires. Zero professionalism, and they will tell you to check the BBB hoping that you won't, because if you did you would see they score an F!Look out for Jr and Jesus Gomez as they are skilled in the arts of sleaze with a smile. more

NO STARS...........................ON 11/07/2010 MY HUSBAND , DECIDED TO LOOK FOR A CAR SO HE COULD START ESTABLISHING CREDIT IN THIS COUNTRY HAVING COME FORM EUROPE 2 YEARS AGO. I (HIS WIFE) DECIDED TO LOOK TO A CORNER DEALERSHIP BECAUSE IT WAS HOW I GOT MY FIRST CAR INSTEAD OF THE DEALERSHIP. SO AS WE TRAVELED HOME WE RODE BY A DEALERSHIP NAMED HAIMS MOTOR IN HOLLYWOOD, FLORIDA. WE PULLED IN THE CAR LOT AND THE CAR MY HUSBAND LIKED WAS ALSO THERE, SO WE TALKED TO THE SALESMAN EDWIN AND HE SAID THERE WAS NO DOUBT THAT HE COULD BE APPROVED. SO WE DID ALL THE PAPER WORK, WHILE HE TYPED UP THE LOAN HE SAID THE BANK NEED $5000 DOWN I(WIFE) ASKED WHY? ISN'T THE DOWN PAYMENT FOR THE SALES PERSON, EDWIN SAID NO ITS THE BANK. MY HUSBAND THEN BECAME BAFFLE AND UPSET THE FELTED AS IF THE GUY WAS TRYING TO RIP US OFF AND WE EXPLAINED TO HIM WE DON'T HAVE $5000 TO PUT DOWN SO HE SAID YOU CAN GIVE US 2000 AND MAKE PAYMENT UNTIL 11/30/2010. BUT IT WAS ME THAT CHANGED MY HUSBAND MIND BECAUSE I SO BADLY WANT HIM TO START ESTABLISHING CREDIT SO WE CAN MOVE FORWARD TO A BETTER LIFE. ON 11/08/2010 I (WIFE) WENT BACK TO THE CAR LOT AFTER SEEING MY DODGE MAGNUM AS A TRADE ON MY HUSBAND LOAN WHICH I NEVER AGREED TO DO, HOWEVER THAT MORNING THE DEALERSHIP OWNER WAS IN THE OFFICE. I ADVISED HIM WHAT WAS GOING ON AND HE INSISTED THAT THE CAR WAS NOT GOING AS A TRADE AND ALL IS ON THE PAPER WORK IS THE CAR WE BROUGHT. FOR THE LAST WEEK WE HAD TRIED TO GET THE FINANCE MANAGEMENT JOSE ON THE PHONE AND BY EMAIL IT WAS IMPOSSIBLE BAFFLE AND LEFT TO DRY WE DECIDED TO CALL THE BANK DIRECTLY. WE CONTACTED THE BANK ON 11/23/2010 AND WAS TOLD THIS LOAN HAD NOT BEEN SUBMITTED AND THAT HAD NO INFORMATION ON MY HUSBAND NOR MYSELF, THEREFORE THE CAR WAS NOT APPROVED. WE FEEL BETRAYED BY THESE GUYS THAT ASSURED US WE WAS APPROVED ON 11/07/2010, WE HAD NO IDEA THAT CAR DEALERS CAN ALLOW YOU TO DRIVE A CAR WITHOUT A LOAN APPROVE. SO, ON 11/24/2010 WE CONTACTED THE HOLLYWOOD POLICE DEPARTMENT ABOUT THE SITUATION AND THEY ACCOMPANIED US TO HAIMS MOTOR TRYING TO DEFUSE THE ISSUES SO WE CAN GET OUR MONEY BACK AND RETURN THE CAR WITHOUT LEGAL ASSISTANCE. AFTER 1-2 HOURS OF NEGOTIATION THE OWNER OF THE DEALERSHIP DECIDED TO GIVE US HALF OF OUR $2500 DOWN PAYMENT BACK WHICH CAME OUT TO BE $1250 WHICH THE OFFICERS WITNESS THIS TRANSACTION ALSO, A LETTER ACKNOWLEDGING WE HAVE NO LOAN IN CONNECTIONS WITH THIS VEHICLE NOW, ITS 11/25/2010 MY HUSBAND CHECKED HIS ACCOUNT NO MONEY, I (JARKESHA) CHECKED MY ACCOUNT THE MONEY WAS THERE BUT NOW 11/26/2010 MY ACCOUNT HAS BEEN LOCK/SUSPENDED DO TO SUSPICIOUS ACTIVE AND I NEED TO COME INTO THE BANK. WILL NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THESE FOOLS AGAIN. Wanted to pick no stars but you have to pick at least one. I was very impressed with Jr at first. After his follow up service I would not recommend this guy to anyone. He has continued to lie to me every time I have called for over a month now. Lourdes in the office told me now that since my paper tag has expired that she would overnight a new one to me. Never came. My truck is currently sitting outside my condo with an expired tag, and with my association it can get towed at any time. The best part is, it was only a tag transfer. I have a valid plate that I could put on it but these lazy people still haven't handled the paperwork yet. That's not even the most irritating part. When I bought the truck the center console cover was missing the arm rest cover. They promised to have it replaced before I took delivery. When I arrived it was not done and they still didn't have the part. They then sent the wrong part. I paid to send that back and they said they would order a new one as soon as the wrong one got back. .I am sitting at about 2 1/2 weeks from that date now. I call again and they told me the guy that handles that has been out of the country. He just now ordered it and to call him. When I call him irritated for being lied to every other day for 2 1/2 weeks now he copped an attitude with me and kept speaking over me. Said he has been too busy with all of his work to get to me yet. Oh, and that guys name is Carlos and he handles the trucks. I will never do business with these fools again and will continue to fill out reviews every day that my business isn't handled. Will be calling the department of motor vehicles on monday to see if they have done anything yet. Will keep you posted... more

Although it took them a while, they got me approved.I had been searching for my vehicle for month reguardless of the time the price was worth it.I legally stole the car lol Overall experience was good.My salesman (Junior) even picked me up in the vehicle from home.Had no problem getting a car fax report either.I would deffinately buy from this dealer again...... I bougth my 05 Expedition from them and I had a great experience with this guys. Not only they got me approved regardless of my bad credit, they did it thru a bank that reports to the credit bureus. They work with me in the down payment part, they let me ride with some money down and gave a couple of weeks to complete my down payment. Thanks to this guys I was able to keep my new job. My old car broke down and I was having a hard time to go to work. Thanks Haims Motors. For treating me with kind and respect. Pros: They will get you approved, even with the worst credit. Cons: They don't negotiate to much in their posted prices. more
