We used to live next to the Barkley Haggen store in Bellingham and it was very nice. Like the other reviewers said; Haggen has it all Blockbuster, Starbucks, Chinese, deli, great bakery. They have a great meat department and even their milk is 5 days fresher :) Everything said they are a great store and its too bad the Blockbuster went under at the Ferndale store. more

Haggen 4/16/2006

Haggen is a locally owned Grocery store chained that is located in the Pacific Northwest. The original Haggen is in Bellingham but there are also several others around including the one in Ferndale. The Haggen deli seems to be the place of choice for most high schoolers looking to get lunch. Haggen is notoriously known for their Haggenese (chinese) food and you'll often here students talking about it. Also included in the Haggen is a starbucks. They use to have a blockbuster video but it recently went out of business thanks to Hollywood Video moving in down the road. I go to Haggen because it's relatively cheap if you have a haggen card and the only other store in town is cost cutter. more

Haggen...store of everything 4/15/2006

With Haggen's around Washington and surrounding states you cannot go wrong with them. In ferndale, the Haggen is rather huge and has everything. Word spreads when others are going to supermarkets or stores and it always comes out to "I'm going to Haggen to get..." Haggen provides the highest standard of service in all departments of food and products. In addition, many Haggen's have extra branches of store or businesses within them. The one here has a Blockbuster in it. more
