I visit my grandma in Akron every year from San Francisco. Guys is the first place I stop on my way to grandma's house. We dont have subs like that out here. Guys, I will be there July 3!!!! more

Will not return 6/20/2009

My husband and I just moved to the Akron area. We heard the subs were good and we thought we would try it. The lady at the counter was not friendly at all. Very uncomfortable experience. .It was a friday and we were also told the fish fry's were good. It was a frozen peice of fish with 6 waffle fries, the fish was broke in half and looked like it was thrown on the oddly shaped small oval plate. The side salad was good but that is not enough to return for. more

Simply the best! 10/2/2006

Guy's Sub Shop is simply the best! We often drive out to AKRON just to go there for a sub! I believe the secret is the warm toasty roll! Everything is always fresh! The service is friendly! Guy's 4/25/2006

OK, now if you want some good subs in Akron it is tough because your options here are very limited. Guy’s Sub Shop on Clinton Street is the best option in this area. I really enjoy this little place. The prices are great and the subs are really loaded up with meat and other great treats. more
