The title of this review really says it all. Reading up on the company profile on other sights that quotes ""Over 30 years of experience"" is actually quite the lie. When looking for fence estimates, we had gotten 3 different ones, one being from Gulf Atlantic Fencing, one from a Great Fence, and one from another company that our builder uses. We grew fond of the owner of Gulf Atlantic fencing, Steve, and he beat all other estimates....so we went with them. BIG MISTAKE! We have a tiny yard, so we stressed over and over again throughout this process how important it was for the fence to be RIGHT ON THE PROPERTY LINE, which is legal in Port Saint Lucie. We came home after the first day of installation to find our fence not 1"" from the property line, not 2"" from the property line, but over 2 FEET from the property line in the back, 6"" on one side, and 4"" on the other. Needless to say we were very upset. Not only was the fence installed oddly inconsistently, and against what we were promised, but the fence also dipped in certain spots and was totally uneven. AND we have 3 gates on the fence...not one worked. AND we were left for over a month with a MESS in our yard and having to hop the fence to get into the back yard! They did not clean up after themselves. After a month of waiting to see when they would be coming back to fix the fence, we finally got in touch with Steve after numerous attempts, and he then informed us that he would not be ""Nig*e*rigging"" our fence for us to accomodate what he had promised from the beginning. We thought this was a very inappropriate thing to say to a client! After a furious argument with him, he agreed that it would be the right thing to do to come back and fix his mistakes, but blamed us for him having to fire one of his ""professional installers,"" that installed our fence horribly. So he sent back two other guys that were not the initial installers. The main installer that showed up had never worked with Steve before, and said he has never really worked with aluminum fencing before, which is what we have. He must've been new, and once again inexperienced. Our fence is now a JOKE. It is completely uneven, and looks ridiculous. After complaining again, we got a phone call from Ruby, the wife of the owner, informing us that they have already come back to fix our fence free of charge, and they are done with it at this point! LOL! Others in our neighborhood have used this company as well, and agree that Steve and Ruby seem very sweet, but they don't know what they are doing. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from this company, unless you want to waste $5,000, and be left with an amateur looking finished product.
