We enjoyed the straight-forward italian cuisine during lunch in April 2009. My fettuccine alfredo (served as a side with the chicken balsamico) was the star of our meal. The pasta was freshly made and perfectly cooked, and the sauce was nicely seasoned. My husband's shrimp dish was light and pleasing, with balanced flavors. The service was responsive and friendly, but it was not very busy when we ate there. The decor was simple and pleasant, and probably has more ambiance at dinner. The outdoor seating area was perfect for people-watching. We would have enjoyed a lunch menu, and we also would have liked to see more fresh regional ingredients highlighted on the menu. The Pier Park location is wonderful for walking off a big meal, and parking is plentiful. Skip nearby Carrabba's and try Guglielmo's!
Pros: Well-Executed Food; Good Service; nice wine list
Cons: No lunch menu
