Groveport Canal Animal Hospital

Dr Shapiro and Dr Land spent the entire day Christmas Eve a couple of years ago taking care of my daughter's Italian Greyhound ""Kisses"" who had fractured her right front leg. Dr. Shapiro clearly was more concerned with my animal's welfare and our feelings than with her own personal needs to be with her family on the holiday. Our dog had a complicated fracture that took most of the day to repair however we never felt anything was rushed and the dog received the most attentive care despite the after hours time frame.This 7 pound dog had anaesthetic risk yet my daughter and I knew she was in the best of hands. We were able to relax knowing everything possible was being done. Dr Shapiro went above and beyond the call of duty by making herself available on the Christmas Holiday. It was obvious to me that she is a veterinarian because of her love of people and animals and goes the extra mile! \r \r more

I have been taking my animals to Groveport Animal Hospital for over 6 years now and have had nothing but great service. The doctors are so caring and are great at expalining every option of care. I love Groveport Canal Animal Hospital. I brought my dog in for a medical emergency. I called the office and they waited for my arrival. The staff and Dr. Shapiro stayed late to run tests, take xrays, counsel me and my family about all possible diagnosi and the care and cost involved to try and save fido. After all possibilities were examined, it was decided to have the animal hospital put our dog to sleep. We all cried togehter. The love, compassion and even follow up sympathy cards and phone calls we always be remembered. The holistic care will never be forgotten.. Our family felt the honest compassion for our dog, but also for us. We still have 3 cats and another dog and would not go to anyone else. WE LOVE GROVEPORT ANIMAL HOSPITAL more

Would never go anywhere else!\r \r Dr. Shapiro is an awesome vet. She always takes her time whenever we go there, extremely knowledgeable, and is always very thorough. Last time we visited, she ended up staying after hours to talk to my boyfriend and I about some issues our dog was having. Her hospital staff is also great. ALL of them are fun, loving, and very personable. Groveport Canal Animal Hospital is also very clean and always organized. They also have great prices. Our dog, Duke loves Dr. Shapiro so much. Everytime we go, it's hard to get him to leave! I would recommend this hospital to anyone! more

Groveport Canal Animal Hospital is definitely the best place I've ever taken my pets. They've taken care of our family's four canines, 27 hamsters, 2 guinea pigs, and 2 turtles and we have never received anything less than consummate care from the entire staff. They are professional, caring, knowledgeable, friendly, and reasonable. We appreciate the after care follow up calls to make sure our pets are on the mend. I would not trust anyone else. Absolutely the best! more

Do NOT go here. I was charged an emergency $125 fee for bringing in my dog (who I thought was dying) eventhough the hospital was still open during normal business hours. (they are open until 7:00 pm, I was there at about 6:30). I was told on the phone as my dog was having a siezure that that fee might be waived. However when I got there, they never had any intention of waiving the fee. I feel I was bait and switched into coming in. I am so upset and disppointed with this vet. I will never go there again. I received absolutely no empathy from any of the people. Terrible, just terrible!\r more
