small injuries not taken seriously 9/12/2008

I went to Dr. Groff when I fractured my fibula about 8 weeks ago. I'm sure he has more serious problems to deal with (like the shattered heel he told me he would be operating on), but I just felt he didn't take my injury seriously. He basically told me to not worry about it, and when it was hurting, it was just hurting, and not getting worse. What kind of advice is that? And here I am, 8 weeks later, still in pain. more

Great Orthopedist 8/11/2005

I went to Dr. Groff when a friend recommended Renaissance Orthopedics after I tore my ACL. I had previously gone to another orthopedic surgeon who seemed less confident in his diagnosis. Dr. Groff immediately diagnosed the problem, prescribed exercises, and explained my options to me. He was very personable. I've recommended him to several injured friends, all of whom have been impressed. more
