I have been here many times and have always had a great meal. My favorite is the lasagna which has become a favorite of all I have taken there. Lunches are good to with a limited menu compared to the dinner menu which is quire varied. The wait staff there has always been very pleasant and helpful and we are never ignored while dining. They keep the refills, extras coming very quickly. Have not tried their breakfast but have heard from many how good they are so I will have to find time to try it soon. more

We eat there 2 or 3 times a week. Love the Italian and love the breakfast that serves until noon! Friendly staff. Great atmosphere. A wonderful place to hang out! more

Despite negative reviews the Grid Iron was a great change of pace from every other corporate establishment, that all seem to have the lack of authenticity. The food was outstanding. I haven't had a steak so tender and well cooked since I can't remember. The service was very impressive we were well taken care of. Can't wait to go back!! more

close this place down before someone gets sick 4/5/2012

If I could give it no stars I would. My salad came out brown so the waitress took it back to get me another one she was back within two seconds. Come to find out it is pre made salad. Then we get an appetizer of calamari and you could defiantly tell it had been frozen for a long time. Then come the entres. I ordered a ribeye for $15 and my husband ordered the dinner special veal Marsala $18. The steak was one off those you buy off a meat wagon or better yet gas station. It was a thin breakfast steak with no seasoning that was fried up and didn't look let alone taste very appetizing. My husband marsala was extremely oily and greasy and didnt have anything in it but canned mushrooms beef broth flour and OIL and lots of it. He got sick it the parking lot. Oh and we both had frozen vegetable on the side. The owners wife came over to our table to see what was wrong and I told her she is serving me a waffle house steak for $15 that has no flavor. She then went to say I don't know what your accustom but that is a good steak, we take pride in what we cook. I call bs on that cause the waitress told us she has to take food back every day. Please take my advice and do not eat here. The only reason they are still in business is because of the bar. Who ever gave this place more then two stars must be family or friends or just go there for the booze. more

04/05/12 the worst food i ever had in my life. by chef boy r dion at Citysearch this place is a bad joke, everything is frozen, premade salads that are brown, the steak is one bought off that pickup truck that travels around selling steaks for $1.98 each. i orderd veal marsala and got caned mushrooms, old veal and a galon of oil on my plate. they dont have a clue on how to make marsala, and they say they are proud to serve that crap. i wouldf love to have a public cookoff with thier chef. this is the first place i ever complained about in my life, i signed up to this site just to tell people how bad this place realy is. then have the balls to charge me 5 star price are you kidding me! more

Finally a great place to hang out!!! 2/9/2012

So happy I tried the new Grid Iron!!! Hubby is a steak lover and Im a pasta lover. Both meals were sooo great!! Service was right on with everything, we were stuffed. Stayed after for the band (friday night) and we just loved them, good ole classic rock!!! Will definitely be going back.....and bringing some friends!! more

Not sure which is worse, service or food 1/6/2012

Could I give the review 0 stars? The food is really bad and the service is aweful. I know its not one of the nice resturants we typically go to, but I expect better than this. Wish it would have been good since it is close to our neighborhood by lake wylie, our neighbors had similar experiences. more
