From the time your child enters the world, tiny and squalling, to the day he walks across the stage for that diploma, his health is critical to wellbeing and development. Greenwood Leflore Hospital's team of Pediatric specialists are committed to making that journey as productive as possible, through preventive care and well-child checkups as well as treatment when illness or injury strikes.
GLH's Children's Clinic offers a full staff of residency-trained pediatricians and pediatric nurse practitioners. They are open daily to evaluate and treat a wide range of childhood and adolescent diseases, ranging from minor sniffles and scrapes to preventive medicine, management of chronic diseases and consultation on learning disorders and behavioral issues. In addition to their practice, they are active in the community, sponsoring the annual “Tour de Grand” bike race, the 300 Oaks Fun Run, March of Dimes and working with the Greenwood Mentoring Group.
At GLH, we realize that children are unpredictable. In addition to our regular appointments during clinic hours (8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday), we offer same-day appointments when available and a Walk-in Clinic through Friday). flu shots are given during regular clinic hours, in season.
