What an awful experience at Greenfield's. They did just a terrible repair on an heirloom piece which I had entrusted to them and they couldn't care less. The "overhaul" work resulted in several botched and worsening repair attempts. A repair expert I consulted recommended against returning the piece for final repair send-back at Greenfield's to prevent further damage because he judged the work to be of low quality. It is no surprise really, the work is done by some outside repair shop rather than on premises. Greenfield's had more than enough chances to make this right as any reputable jeweler would do and they did not. So, on top of not getting what was paid for, the hassle of returning several times, ruining the sentiment of a gift ; the owner was irresponsible, arrogant and indifferent to whole situation. Do what the owner at Greenfield's told me to do - Go someplace else. more

Maybe it is just what I was looking for but I find Greenfield Jewelers to be pretty expensive, but I guess most large jewelry stores are. This is the type of place where the sales staff jumps all over you when you walk in the door so it is not the type of place where I feel comfortable just browsing. I did buy my Mom an Italian charm bracelet here and although I more money that I would have at other stores she was very happy with it which is what counts. more

This jewelry store is pretty nice and you can find some reasonable pieces here. I bought my daughter a14K ballet necklace that was very reasonably priced and my husband purchased a beautiful pin for me which was also extremely reasonable. They also expensive pieces as well. The employees are friendly and helpful more
