Greek Fiesta will contaminate your food on purpose!!!! 4/21/2010

Ok, so I recently found out that I'm allergic to Barley. I got into Greek Fiesta today, and ask the guy if there Pita's have Barley in them, and the guy instantly says no barley, so I order a lamb pita. I ask the other guy to see the pita package, and like the second ingredient is Malted Barley flour, the other guy didn't even attempt to look, and just lied to me. So, I say, no bread then just give me the meet. He proceeds to cook my order and after a bit I see him pick up a pita and start repeatedly mashing it into the lamb he is cooking for me. He gives it to the other guy and places it in front of me. I ask him did you just mash that pita into my food?? He lies and tries to say it is not my order, and it was a pickup order, which is BS, I was the only person in line, and it was my exact order. He then takes another lamb out and puts in on the grill, and the other guys are looking around, and don't know what to do with this imaginary order. I cold busted this guy trying to contaminate my food because I caught him lying about the barley. I straight up confronted him, I said you know you're lying, that was my order, and you blatantly tried to contaminate it. He tried to deny it a bunch of times, gave me some BS about trying to make sure it was cooked, and then finally admitted it and said he didn't mean to, whatever, I'm not stupid. He was busted and he knew it. I have never seen them take a pita and smash it into the meat while it is cooking. He could kill someone like that, if they were really allergic to something. If it was an honest mistake, then why lie about it and make up a fake order, just say oh crap I normally cook it that way, let me remake it. Pros: I didn't eat it Cons: they tried to kill me, literally more

Good considering your typical mall food court options 1/27/2009

The food is good but very unpredictable. Sometimes the hummus tastes smokey, sometimes it tastes sweet almost like honey. Sometimes the salad dressing tastes great, sometimes it's pure oil. Sometimes the grape leaves are a goopy mess, sometimes they're fresh and tasty. I wouldn't waste your money on their salads, but their platters and sandwiches are usually very filling. The service, however, is what made me stop going there. The people working the register don't seem to realize that the other customers standing around waiting for their food can hear what they're saying. More than once I've heard someone call out an order as ready, and then the employee will mumble something about how slow and stupid all of their customers are in what I assume was supposed to be under their breath. Also, take note that every single time I've gotten take-out here, they have left something out. This may sound ridiculous, but it got to the point where I honestly wonder whether it's *unusually* sloppy service or a purposeful move to save money. I mean, forgetting a part of my meal every single time, no matter what I order, when, or who put it together? That can't be a coincidence. I never received exactly what I ordered there when I got take-out, so check your bags for dressings, pitas, sauces, baklavas, and other sides very well before you leave! Pros: Filling, tasty alternative, variety Cons: Customer service, unpredictable quality of ingredients more

The best Greek food 3/22/2008

Great food!!! One of the best Greek places around, and it is fast food. The lamb is awesome...the best I have ever had. We love their Mediterranean platter. I love their grape leaves. Everything is cooked fresh, so the lines can be long, but it is worth the wait. Pros: Best Greek food around Cons: Not in Apex more

THE BEST CHICKEN PITA EVER! 2/17/2008

I love the food at Greek Fiesta! It is always fresh and healthful. The fresh chicken breast pita is wonderful. It is the best I ever had! It is marinated fresh chicken breast with just the right ammount of spices.Their cucumber dip, hommos and kabobs are all made in-house.The restaurant is very clean, service friendly and decorated nicely. I visit all their locations and get the same delicious food everytime. I recommend Greek Fiesta highly. more

delicious and convenient 6/24/2007

The service is always excellent and everytime I come in to one of their restaurants, I am always genuinely welcomed by the staff. The food is wonderful and makes for a healthy, refreshing meal. Their Greek salads are deliciously tangy and the cucumber sauce is a personal favorite. Their baklava is also really good and, in my opinion, they have the best sweet tea around! Pros: basically everything Cons: can be a little bit pricey ($10-12) but still worth it more

Great food, great value, great service! 4/29/2007

Excellent food with awesome customer service 2/6/2007

My first time going to Greek Fiesta, but definetly will not be the last. It was a wonderful experience. I was sceptical going at first because there is another Greek restaurant in Cary I like to frequent. I was shopping in the Crossroads area and was in the mood for a good greek dinner. My friend suggested we try Greek Fiesta. I resisted and asked to go to the other restaurant ,but being across town I decided to give it a try. Upon entering both staff members looked up and greeted me with a smile. I had explained this was my first time there. Both suggested the Meditteranian Platter. I have to tell you, I got enough food to feed two people and the taste and freshness was devine. It had a variety of humus, tabuli salad, chicken and lamb kaboobs, pita bread, cucumber sauce, grape leaves and regular salad. I am usually a big eater and I could not finish it. One of the staff members came from behind the counter when things slowed down to ask my opinion of thier food and to see if there was anything ""Simply continue what you are doing...wonderful food and great customer service!"" Pros: very good food, great customer service, very spacious dining area. Cons: I haven't been there sooner! more

It's definetly the not the best around 1/25/2007

I was pretty hungry and thought I would give this place a try because I really do love greek food. The service was good and promptly helped. The food was ok but there was nothing special about this place. I ordered the gyro with a salad. The salad was pretty good, but the gyro was really not good at all. The thing that really disappointed me was that the lamb that was in it was steakems type meat. I was hoping it was going to be real lamb but it was that processed meat. I eat there if I was really hungry but not my first choice. Pros: Clean kitchen and service was good. Cons: Not real traditional greek food. more
