On July 4th while downtown for 4th on Flager I stopped at Greaase Burger Bar \r Between 5:30 and 5:45 pm and asked to be seated inside. I was politely informed\r that the tables were for seatings of 4 but I was welcome to sit at the bar. I responded \r I did not wish to sit at the bar to eat and would likw a table only to be denied again.I asked \r for a manager and expressed my displeasure and she also told me that tables were for seatings of 4 and I was welcome to sit at the bar..I then pointed out the fact that the first 3 tables with 4 place settings all had only 2 people eating at them...her response..THEY GOT HERE EARLEY..Perhaps a sign should be posted\r infroming parties less then 4 shpould go straight to the bar... more

Great burgers. The burgers are huge and we couldn't even find room for the fries. The bartender was awesome but the female bartenders seem to care only about the guys. Overall a great place -is we will be back! more

I left Atlanta and headed to Fla for a 5 day stay. While in downtown West Palm beach we decided to stop in to the Grease Burger Bar. I must say after having the Vortox in Atlanta (Little Five Point) the day before I left and now have the Black and Blue burger at Grease Burger's one would think I would be on burger overload....well NO! \r \r After seeing several burgers go by as we waited for our meal, my mind keep praying, "Please don't let this burger be dry" $10.95. Man oh man!!! I bite into that burger and had to immediately sit it down and do the adult napkin tuck in collar. The juice was flooooowing. \r \r My burger was full of hickory grilled flavors, very well seasoned and fresh blue cheese. The kind of blue cheese taste you think you would only get in France. Then the applewood bacon...that had to be one well exercised pig! Crispy and yet not greasy. \r \r My son had The Grease Beast, WARNING...as they tell you...this burger is not for the lightweights. My son could not finish the meal. However, he claims the grill cheese sandwich that makes the burger was just too much. \r \r Another family member had the Durango burger, soft hickory smoked grilled onions without the pepper jack. They are softies when it comes to food comments, but if looks could delight...we were there!\r \r If ever in the area, made a trip there! The staff may not WOW you, but the food will. Fries nor tater totes come with meal. \r \r We will see you there. more

I am not a huge fan of the Standard American Diet (SAD for short). One of its mainstays, the burger, has always mystified me. I just don't get it. Out of all possibilities, a burger is the last thing I am likely to order in a restaurant. \r \r So when Grease opened on Clematis Street, I wasn't interested. Grease is an upscale restaurant and bar that is dedicated almost solely to the burger. The name bothered me, too. Honestly, food that is greasy is the opposite of good.\r \r But, since I have friends who like burgers, I have been to Grease a few times since it opened. In fact, I was there just last week. There are a few non-burger items on the menu, but each time I have been there I've gone with the signature product - the burger.\r \r It turns out that a good burger is a great thing. Eating at Grease has taught me this. On the menu are a few specialty burgers, and the opportunity to craft your own burger with the toppings of your choice.\r \r Although I am also not a fan of fries, onion rings are another matter entirely. The onion rings at Grease are wonderful, although last week they were sadly a little greasier than usual.\r \r Grease has a fully stocked bar, friendly staff and a great atmosphere. It is perfect place to meet friends after work, or to sit at the bar and watch a game. Its dark lighting makes it romantic, but I wouldn't choose it for a first date because the burgers are too big and juicy to eat neatly.\r \r Grease is not a place to "grab a quick burger." Grease is a place to savor and appreciate the American institution that is the burger.\r \r http://thedarkforest.com more

This was my 1st and last time in this clip joint. Ordered two drinks at 6:45pm , happy hour is two for one. Cashed out my bill at 7:25pm and was charged for both, I told the bartender its two for one , so please give me two more drinks. She told me I got there past 7pm and argued with me,then looked at my tip on my credit card of $2.00 for two drinks and gave me a look of disgust! I told her to tell the manager I was not happy and would like another round since i was owed it. She walked away and I assume talked to the manager , the bartender came back and said no , I walked out pissed and will never return on principal. I've called american express and will get 1/2 of my $16.00 back for two watered down drinks in a watered down place.\r \r Stay out of this spot , all the manager needed to do was come up and get me the drinks i was deserved. Then boom! A repeat happy customer. Numerous friends of mine live downtown, I will spread the word, avoid this clip joint. more

Great service, best burger in town, 12 drafts plus great bar, brats and onion rings also good. They use fresh meat for burgers and onion rings are made fresh on site. more

We have been to Grease many times and the burgers are great, although in the pricey range. The sides are also good, especially the fries and the homemade chips.\r \r Our only issue is with the service, which is always slow, and with management. Every time we are there, the same manager (owner?) is sitting at the end of the bar, working on a laptop. He makes no attempt to interact with anyone in the restaurant. He doesn't look up to nod or smile at guests, let alone visit tables to ask how their meals were.\r \r If I am going to spend $40 + tip for a burger and fries (2 ppl), I don't think it's too much to ask for the manager to acknowledge that we are in the restaurant helping their bottom line, especially on a weeknight when we are just one of a few tables, which is typically the case. more

Went during lunch and the place was barely anybody there. We (my girlfriend and I) were seated and placed our order. 15 minutes later our drinks came out, which was just water. The waiter then disappeared into the back and we did not see anybody come out for the next 45 minutes. 45 minutes for 2 burgers? And a waiter that disappeared for that entire period? No thank you. We wound up eating at jimmy johns. more

The cheeseburger was great and the fries were tasty too, but the beer selection is the best part of this place. Huge selection from the everyday stuff to the obscure including Milwaukee's Best and Pabst Blue Ribbon. The Rogue's Dead Guy was a good surprise. more

A cool location in Downtown WPB on Clematis Street. We went for lunch on a Saturday and didn't have any problem getting a table. The food was a little slow coming out but our server was friendly and helpful.\r \r The burgers and fries were great. We ordered some regular fries and sweet potato fries and were happy with both. Everyone enjoyed their burgers, including the turkey burger. The prices weren't bad and it's definitely a cool place to go to show the character of Clematis Street. more
