Bought tires Oct 30,13 with $60 mail - in rebate. Mailed form in twice Goodyear said they still didn't receive had store fax in copy of receipt in January called to today Feb 21,14 said its been processed and should receive in about 6-8 more weeks. I guess that will be in time for another set of tires but I promise they won't be from Goodyear. more

Avoid at All Costs 6/28/2013

Went to Goodyear Service Center to have them mount two tires on front of car. When I got the car back, my newly washed wheels were greasy; however, I noticed after wiping away part of the grease that they had scraped my alloy wheels along the edges and scratched and pitted them on some of the spokes. When I brought it to their attention, they denied it was due to their equipment although the wheels on the back showed no marks and there were obvious grease/other marks all over the front wheels in the same areas as the damage. Again, when I asked is that going to be their response, they didn't do it, they said yes ... it has to be.\r \r I would never, ever take my vehicle to this place again. more

Moneywise consumer 9/25/2012

This garage quoted a family member a price of $180 for an alignment. The only inspection was visual, and no reason was given why the vehicle needed an alignment other than "it appears to be slightly out of alignment". The rear wheels on this vehicle cannot be aligned, only shimmed if necessary. So, this garage would be charging $180 for a front wheel alignment only. A total ripoff. Woody's garage in downtown Charlotte charges $89.95 for a four wheel alignment, and $69.95 for a two wheel alignment. So, if you as a customer want to be charged and spend 157% more than you should, that's your decision. My advice is to shop around and save yourself some money by patronizing a garage with a good reputation and reasonable prices. Why give away your hard earned money? more

Friendly staff, fairly quick service 3/22/2006

I have been going to this Goodyear since it opened to service my vehicle. I have had pretty good luck as far as getting in and out in a timely manner. I usually have to wait, but if I know it is going to be long, I can go to Concord Mills and walk around. That way I incorporate exercise with car service and do not just sit and waste time. I think they are pretty fair, but sometimes they try to push additonal services on you. I don't think that is uncommon. I think that is the norm in that business. more

Watch out for unforeseen charges 9/7/2005

I have taken my car there a couple times for an oil change and flat tires. Their service is ok, but I find that they try to tack on extra services that are nonessential and cost more money. I dont like the feeling of someone trying to charge me for services that I really dont need, so I cant say that I trust them. Once I went in to get some work done and they quoted me a price on the phone that I agreed to. However, when I went to pick the car up, the price was higher because of these extra add-ons, etc.. At that point, I just had to pay it even though I did not agree to the price, and the guy would not budge. I take my vehicle there because it is close to home and convenient but would prefer to go somewhere I thought was more trust worthy. PROS: Convenient CONS: Overcharge, try to tack on extra expenses more
