After a trip in with the family to get equipped for a summer hiking trip to Alaska I will be forever customers. As soon as we walked through the door we were greeted (something that is a scarce thing in the city). The sales associates were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. After reading the other reviews on this site we were kind of leery of spending several hundreds of dollars in a place that has mixed reviews, but after just one visit I will be a customer for a long time. This place overall gets two thumbs up and the bad reviews must have been some bad apples they hired at some time because there is nothing else like this in the city. If you like being treated like a paying customer instead of a burden like the big box stores this place is for you. Be aware of the return policy, it is shorter than most places but it is posted several places and kind of expected in a small shop like this one. more

Good Sports is a nice sporting goods store. It has a wide variety of items for all types of sports. The people who work there know all about sporting goods and are very helpful. The appearance of the store is always clean and very well organized. They sell name brand quality stuff. If you are looking for a bargain, this is not the place to go. Their prices are standard for the quality you get. more
