It's my Utah version of Trader Joe's. They have a great selection of my favorite drinks and supplements :) I haven't tried their produce yet, but so far, I haven't been disappoint...

Good earth 2/25/2009

I went into the Orem store. I was helped right away. The people were friendly and the selection was pretty good. I asked to see Serrapeptase enzyme and the employee showed me 3 or 4 brands. The employee knew all about what Serrapeptase is and does - and believe me I tested him. He also knew the correct cofactors and complementary synergistic enzymes. This was very impressive! more

Good Earth, not the cheapest. 4/14/2006

As mentioned in other reviews of this business, this isn't the most amazing health food store you'll ever visit, but as far as being a couple of blocks away from my house, it's the best health food store by far! Like most health food stores, it's a little pricier than you might like it to be, but nothing to outrageous. Their bulkfoods are in fact often cheaper than what you would find pre-packaged at the grocery store, and this particular store apparently has the cheapest almonds in Utah county, so it all evens out. Especially if you like almonds. I go here a lot for the sesame sticks and yoghurt pretzels in the bulk section, but like a lot of their other products too. They have a good selection of vitamines and other supplements at fairly decent prices, but I have seen some of the same products at Walmart for more than half the price. Good Earth is locally owned, so if you're into supporting local businesses and eating healthily, definitely go here. Besides, an employee told me that this Good Earth is where all of the Utah Valley celebritries (the Osmonds and Larry King? What does that mean?) shop, so you can buy your Black Kohosh and star gaze at the very same time! more

Good Earth, Good Stuff 4/5/2006

While Good Earth is no Whole Foods or even Wild Oats, it is a great, healthy alternative to your everyday supermarket. The prices are a bit higher, but organic, free range, and alternative products will almost always run more. Their almond butter is incredible and is freshly ground before your eyes. Be sure to bring the container back when you refill--these folks reward recyclers. Also, if you like Burt's Bees or Newman products, Good Earth has a pretty good selection. You may also want to pick up a freshly made, veggie-packed sandwich in their in-store cafe (Junkies). This place has something for just about everyone since they stock everything from protein powder and supplements to blue corn chips. more
