Goldilocks

I will no longer want to go back to this Goldilocks. Their service honestly sucks. I took my family their for dinner and the waiter was lazy. I ordered the palabok and asked them for no egg. My order came with egg on it, and I politely told them if they could take it back, but they just said to scrape the egg on the side. Also, my family ordered 9 siopao for 3 people and they served it in one big plate instead of 3 plates. Yet again, I asked them for 3 small plates, and I got the plates 40 minutes later. They don't deserve a dime from me, or the other customers. They need to change their service, or there won't be any customers left. more

After a lousy morning, a friend took me here to expand my experiences and smooth out the day. What a treat! Although there was the casual architecture of the typical California malls at this complex, inside, I felt this was probably what a real Filipino restaurant might be like. (of course this was a real Filipino restaurant -- you know what I mean..) Anyhow, I can't remember the names, but the oxtail soup was awesome, and the green tea drink was fabulous! I didn't think a green tea drink could come out so .. creamy? smooth? but still with that green tea taste? It was almost like a milkshake I think! Unfortunately, I gave it 4 stars as I thought they were a bit disorganized -- service and timeliness. But as I was having a great time with my friend, it all turned out well. more

costumer service was really bad. our family just had some lunch buffet somewhere and my son got hungry again so we went there to buy him something and we decided to have some snacks as well. since we ordered just a few things, the server was really rude. my dad wants something from the bakery so he said to just go and buy it from the bakery 'coz they were busy. after we ordered some soup w/c by the way is the most bitter soup i've tasted in my life (no kidding!), he asked us if we are still ordering something - we said no, but, few minutes later, my daughter changed her mind, so we called on him - to no avail. well, partly our fault for changing our minds quickly... i guess. anyway, we went there several times and the place was always packed so we understand if we do not get the best customer service. but yesterday, they were not that busy. won't go there anymore, i gave 1 star 'coz of our server and the food. although there was one server who was really nice - should have gotten his name so that we can mention him here... sorry! by the way, before we got a table, we asked the host if we can order just few things only - we want to make sure so that we are not holding any table for some other people. she said it was fine.... more

This is a good sit-down Filipino food place! Everything from spaghetti to authentic foods such as pinkabet and oxtails here served! Sunday afternoons can get crowded. I make the 20 mile trek from the South Bay whenever I have the urge for Goldilocks! The bakery has some good treats too! Pros: Everything Cons: Nothing more

I go here every now and then for their Halo halo. Ordered party platters here too and have never been disappointed. Good food, good service. Pros: halo halo and other sweets, quick service more
