Ok so maybe they should rename it to pig out heaven or something similar !
Price is very decent 10.00 + drink, I personally think they should roll the drink into the price but hey you cant have it all.
Service has always been excellent, it does get packed, and I mean packed, best to go at an odd hour after the rush or before, if you dont mind a massive amount of people then go during peak hours.
Some of the food is normal buffet fare, the salad bar is actually quite good, a lot of fresh fixings and yummies to go on top, the only draw back is the ranch dressing, tasted very watered down, but pile on some bacon and cheese and you will never know.
I have only been here during dinner time hours, you have your mashed tators and gravies, mac and cheese ( this is quite good even for a grown up ) black eye peas, greens, cooked veggies and tons more, the fried chicken is excellent, as is the meatloaf if you get it fresh, I found deep fried liver and it was very delicious, the steaks are nothing to write home about standard water infused buffet style beef but still not too shabby.
The fish selections are actually and surprisingly very good, definatly try the habenero talipia, it is in a sweet slightly spicey sauce, the fish I loved was the salt and pepper flounder, crunchy breading and real flounder, I know huh amazing but very refreshing.
The desert section is exquisite, some of it is run of the mill stuff but my fav was the fudge, the peach cobbler and ice cream and the carrot cake.
Staff on every visit have been very polite and efficient, nice sweet tea ( I am addicted to the stuff ), probably not a 5 star joint of course but for the price you cant beat it and the food is decent to excellent ! I try and go once a month for family dinner night out, anymore then that and I will gain to pants sizes, try it and you will like it !
