A nice-looking place with good food and good-looking people and generally hospitable service, but the last time I went there I was given my food without any silverware, and when I asked a blonde female server (I think her name was either Lindsay or Ashley), ""Could I have some, um, silverware"" in an overly-polite and non-intrusive way, she spat back at me, ""Would you like some 'um-silverware', or would you like some silverware?"", in an extremely conceited, superior-goddess-being-forced-to-interact-with-disgusting-inferior-bug manner. \r

This is one of the big problems with New Smyrna Beach in general: the presence of a conceited and mean in-crowd of local cliquesters and beautiful people who have lived here all their lives and are way too used to getting their way through constant social intimidation. There are people and businesses in NSB that know how to treat people, and there are those that don't. Gnarly Surf Bar is going to have to decide which of those two types of places it's going to be, if it hasn't already.
