To put it simply, I'm a nerd. I moved to Las Vegas over 10 years ago when I was 10. Instead of finding a stylist, I just went to Supercuts. Sure, they had no idea how to cut my hair so it looked good, but I didn't care enough to look for a better hair cut. So, eventually, a few months ago, I decided to try out a salon. Being the aforementioned nerd, I spent days searching the internet to find a match for me. Eventually, I decided it was Globe. I got an appointment, but they were moving and I got mine pushed back several times. Eventually, it was time for my cut. As I drove over, I felt some apprehension because we've all heard of the artificially inflated scores some places get, and they had recommended their ""least experienced stylist"" to me. Once I got there, I was greeted immediately and promptly given something to drink. I settled down with a magazine for what I assumed would be at least fifteen minutes. However, I was in the middle of the first article when my stylist, Leilani, came for me. Amazingly, she listened to everything I said. I told her that she was the expert and should do what she thought was best. Her response was, ""But YOU have to like it."" Eventually, she won the battle against my stubborn hair and got something that was beautiful and easy and matched my personality. I left looking and feeling great. My hair is truly wash and wear and still looks wonderful. A couple weeks later, I ran into a friend I hadn't seen in a long time who works as a receptionist at a salon, and she raved over it.
Pros: Great service, great cuts, great value
Cons: A little difficult to find
