All the schools in the Glens Falls district are great. My daughter went to Big Cross Street Elementary School. I dont think it can be beat. The principal knew each child by name. The incredible personal attention each child gets is unbelievable. They give you the chance to be very involved in your child's education and scholastic needs. They truley make education fun and yet help your child excel to the best they can be.
My daughter just finished at the middle school. They continued the great educational strides I experienced with Elementary. My daughter not only scored at the top of her class in state testing but she scored with others in the school at the top of the state. They are not preparing for tests but really learning and setting a foundation for High School and then college. They have great sports and other activities for the children and swimming in the school. The arts and language departments are amazing too.
