Great! 8/1/2010

Took our shelter rescued dog there for 10 days whilst we were on vacation and were a bit nervous as she can be a little high maintenance. We took the dog there the week before to check the place out. There are two areas - one for smaller dogs and one for larger ones (including ours). The dogs get to hang out with each other outside and there is also an open building for sleeping, Glenn seemed knowledgeable and watchful over the dogs and our dog seemed to enjoy the visit so we left her there for the full 10 days. Picked her up today and she was happy and healthy!! Will leave her with Glenn again on our next trip. Pros: Dog gets to hang with other dogs, convenient location Cons: Probably not good for anti social dogs?? more

Rude Owner 6/2/2010

Glen was so rude on the phone that I had to cancel our reservation. He would not answer any questions or address any concerns I had. Very poor customer service and I have to question what is going on there if he is so unwilling to discuss his establishment. Cons: Rude Owner more

Best Dog Inn 4/2/2010

My girlfriend came to visit me here in L.A. from sunny San Diego and needed a place to watch her loving maya, which is the best dog ever. I heard so many great things about Glen's Dog Inn and decided to have my girl take her dog there. When we arrived the staff was very helpful and friendly. The dog instantly felt at home and was running around and being very playful so we knew she would be in good hands. When we returned to pick up maya she was having so much fun it was hard to get her to leave. Looks like we found our dog inn everytime maya is in town :) Pros: Excellent Location and Friendly Staff more

Bella Approved 2/12/2010

I've been taking my boxer / lab (boxerdore!) Bella to Glen for more than two years and it's been a great relationship for myself and for her. Glen and I always have something to talk about, and I never worry that my pup will be safe and happy while I'm gone. Bella is a rescue, and she did get into trouble at a couple of fru-fru places she used to go. No ... she doesn't need the doggie massage or aroma therapy. What is that, anyway? Bacon? What Bella needs is lots of space to play, the ability to go indoors or outdoors whenever she wants, and a strong but loving hand able to watch and break up any tiffs. At Glen's Dog Inn she gets all those things, and at an affordable price too. This is the first review I've written on City Search, and I'm doing it because I've been thrilled with this business. I leave Bella with Glen for a few days or a few weeks at a time. She always comes back happy and exhausted, and she's always happy when we go back. Pros: Indoor - outdoor at your dog's leisure Cons: not your fru-fru joint, but I didn't want that anyway more

Best Dog Inn in Los Angeles 1/21/2009

I am an owner of a 17 month old golden retriever that I would most likely describe him as my baby. He is a bit nervous and very nurtured; however, to me the perfect pup. I was always anxious when I left him other places to be watched since sometimes it would take a few weeks to get him back to his old self. I left him at Glen's for two weeks and he came back home the same. I could tell he had such a great time there and was watched over. I would definitely recommend Glen's not only due to it's convenient location by the airport, but Glen really cares about each and every dog. Thanks Glen! Pros: Great location, clean, dog's well looked after, well-priced, and Glen is a great guy! more

Wonderful place to board your dog 8/4/2008

This is an exceptional facility. The dogs are allowed to play and run in the spacious yard. There are also indoor areas for your dog. After checking a couple of other places, we were so pleased to have found Glen. He took great care of our dog and she was clean, healthy and happy when we picked her up. We highly recommend Glen's Dog Inn because we know your dog will be well cared for. Pros: clean, spacious yard, great care more

Best dog boarding experience ever! 3/28/2008

Glenn's is simply the best boarding my dog has ever had. Glenn treated my dog more like an honored guest, than a pooch. No cages, the dogs get to roam, and it's really just a great big yard. Perfect if your dog is social. Mine is somewhat shy, and spent most of his time with Glenn in the kitchen. I even got free business advice from Glenn. Possibly the only Jewish-run pet kennel on the Westside? Who knew? Pros: Glenn is the biggest pro. A real mensch. Also, just minutes from the airport. Cons: If your dog isn't social or spooks easily, probably not the best bet . more

Best place to bring your dog 1/4/2008

I have brought my dog, Nola, to Glen's Dog Inn twice and know that there is no where else I would bring her. Not only is there plenty of room for her to run, socialize and play with other dogs, it's the kind of environment that she deserves. ? whether short term or long term. Putting her in a kennel where she would be caged for 23 hours a day just doesn't make sense. When I pick her up from other places she acts weird, looks like she hasn't eaten and has lost her voice from yelling ""Let me out of this cage!"" Picking her up from Glen's, she is energetic, full of life and healthy looking. I think the space is just right for dogs, allowing them to play, dig in the dirt, lay in the sun or catch some shade under the huge palm. And if it rains, they have an entire house to lounge in. And it's an environment that is safe and secure. Glen's is great for BUSINESS TRAVELERS, like myself. Very near to LAX. In short, it's where your dog should stay when you leave. Pros: space, socialization, cage free more

Fabulous Dog Kennel 8/1/2007

We love this place, and so does our dog! We are repeat customers. Our little guy starts whining on the freeway as we approach Glen's, and can't wait to get out of the car and get inside once we pull up. It's like summer camp for him. Our pup is an only dog, a rescue pup with crate aversion; going to the Inn has been great for his socialization and doesn't subject him to further crate trauma. He gets to have lots of activity and do the pack thing, which has been really great for him. The Inn is bright, clean, well run, and very pleasant. We like it that the dogs are grouped by size. The dogs are relaxed and happy, hanging out, playing, and following Glen around like adoring fans following a rock star. more

definitely 5 stars! our dog loves it! 7/26/2007

I agree with all the good things everyone's written here already -- Glen's Dog Inn is totally awesome -- I don't forsee ever needing to go anywhere else. They clearly care about the dogs, and our pooch loves it there. We've only been there twice but he whines and gets excited when we drive up, and when we pick him up he is happy and tired from playing all day with the other dogs. Very highly recommended. Pros: Great value, dogs love it, great people, location, etc... Cons: None that I can think of! more

Great doggie home away from home 9/10/2006

I have let my puppy stay with Glen on a number of occasions, for two weeks at a time. I know my dog had a fun time, and Glen was great about responding to my emails to let me know that everything was ok, which is huge for peace of mind when I can't be with my baby! When I returned, he had lots of pictures to show me about my dog's adventures when I was away.\r \r Overall a great experience, and I definitely plan to have Vinnie stay there again, next time I'm away Pros: Everything was great more

What a great expirence 7/23/2006

I just wanted to share what a wonderful experience I had with Glen. My 2 dogs are like my children and I am always so scared to leave them when I go out of town. I have finally found a place where everyone is so friendly and truly has a love for dogs. There is so much space for them to play with each other and get exercise. I would highly recommend Glen's if you need doggie daycare! Pros: Reliable, safe, friendly more

Forget those Kennels. Glen's is a HOME away from home!! 7/22/2006

You don 't have to about leaving your baby here. This is really a canine home with lots of open space. There are two houses and plenty of space for each pooch to find his favorite spots to play or take a nap.\r \r Glen has taken wonderful care of my baby. He is very attentive to each dog's individual needs, while being focused on the group. The result is that everone is happy and contented. And you will be too!\r more

Glen's dog Inn truly is a home away from home for our dog Harvey. 7/21/2006

I have only good things to say about Glen's. My dog Harvey had a fabulous experience. the other Kennel I tried they told me that he was an anxious dog - but at glen's place he was totally relaxed. Glen just has a really nice, calming way with dogs. \r \r I travel alot and I'm so glad I found this place - it's right on the way to LAX. Next time we go away Harvey will be back Glen's hopefully to see his buddies and make new friends! Pros: friendly, reasonable, close to LAX Cons: none that i can think of more

Dimino's 7/20/2006

I'm the proud mommie of a 9 year old Yorkie, I treat my dog as if He is my birth given child. So one can tell how I spoil him. Just like my only child I would not just let anyone take care of him. I recently went on a two week vacation for the first time in about 7 years. in the past I've taken my doggie his name is Cody to other Kennel's and when I return he take's a long time to get back to normal and I worry about him all the while I'm gone. I recently discovered Glen's Dog Inn. Not only was it conviently located close to my home, I found it was a place where there are so many loving dog's for my dog to get along with. And the owner who's name is Glen was a real lover of Animals. I can tell because my cody took to him right away, and Cody dose not go to anyone. When I returned not only was he in better health he seem so happy and I never worried about him while on vacation. You see Cody was a little heavy and the Dr. wanted me to feed him less and run him more. He did all of that at the Inn. Cody was happy to see me but I can also tell he missed Glen when we went home. I will never leave him with anyone other than at Geln's Inn. I'm planning my next vacation now. :). I also now go on shorter vacations because I know he's happy at Glenn's. \r \r Liz C . Cody's mom Pros: parking, service ambience, every thing you need for your doggie's more
