I'm new to Colorado Springs and Gleneagle Dental so I can only speak about the new Dentist, Dr. Dowdle and his current staff. Having had two procedures, a filling and a bone graft, I can honestly say I was treated professionally and felt genuinely cared for throughout my treatment. Dr. Dowdle was very gentle and calm. He took the time to make sure I understood step by step what the procedure entailed and what was happening during the work. Periodically, he or the assistant would ask about my pain level and afterwards, I was given clear post-op instructions. Everyone I've encountered at Gleneagle Dental has been friendly, smiling and attentive. I have no doubt I will continue to use Gleneagle Dental for myself and my family's dental needs. more

This dental office recently changed hands and the new Dentist - Dr Dowdle - is world class. For starters, prior military dentist so thanks for your service!! Very cordial and conversational throughout my crown process. Constantly asked how I was doing and was concerned about my comfort. \r \r As if that wasn't enough - I forgot about the temp crown and grabbed some peanuts for a snack - clearly in violation of the warning about peanuts and the temp crown material. After chewing on more than peanuts, the dentist met me at his practice after hours to ensure my dental health - I was leaving the next day on a four day business trip!\r \r Unlike the previous review (6 Aug 09), I have had wonderful care here in the past, but Dr Dowdle has raised the bar another notch! Come to this dentist if you wish to endure pain and discomfort like never before . I fought back the urge to jump out of my seat and run for the hills while the insensitive hygienist poked utensils into my tongue, lips and gums; blaming her mistakes on my ""small mouth"" and ""strong tongue"". I regularly see a dentist and never understood how a dentist visit could instill fear or apprehension into someone until this visit. I am also very concerned with the level of competence in this office; the dentist and the hygienist disagreed on several issues, not sure whether wisdom teeth removal, night-guard or braces would be necessary. The hour and a half visit concluded with blank stares, swollen gums, 3 referrals, one toothbrush made for ages 5-9, and an open, adult-sized toothbrush. I have never been as disappointed as I am right now. Pros: ...? Cons: no solutions, just plenty of referrals more
