Hello. Thank you for inquiring about my company. I would like to respond to SABJ's review. I would like to ensure you that we have great customer service with over 30 years combined experience and YES we stand behind our product. I want you to know that if your aren't completely satisfied with your shower/tub enclosure installation, we will make it right for you. We install on average 3 enclosures a day. Do they all go as planned? Not always but that is where our customer service kicks in. For example, we had a framed door and panel unit that didn't work last week for various reasons. So instead of walking away we found a solution. The customer now has a Heavy Frameless shower door and panel and it didn't cost them a dime more than their framed system we quoted. This came to over $400 at no extra cost to them. Please give us a try and you will clearly see the difference in our professionalism and customer service. more

Horrible customer service and prices 12/16/2011

CALL RAPID GLASS instead for shower doors. Same Alumax brand, cheaper & 1000% better customer service. The G&MO reps were terrible. We walked into the showroom & provided the salesman with our measurements for a new glass door. We selected a door based on his quotes (again, had our dimensions!). They came out to measure & we were told that we needed our slope corrected. No problem. We had it fixed ASAP and the same installer came out & inspected again. He said the slope was fine & left an estimate for a custom shower door for a LOT more money. The salesman should have provided us custom prices up front OR showed us different standard models/styles that fit the size we needed. The installer that measured should have told us we needed a custom door the 1st time he came out. We were notified AFTER we had tile work done & the old door thrown away. Very frustrating! They saw no issue with us being told an inflated new price or my family being unable to use a shower for a longer period of time. I?m so glad we called around and found Rapid Glass. They sell the same door brand, are cheaper & our new door looks great. more

Supporting contractors 5/15/2010

I've been a local remodeler for over 25 years. Working everywhere in the metro area in that time, I've used numerous subcontractors. Finally my prayers were answered when Glass & Mirror Outlet opened their new showroom. No other store in the metro combines the amazing selection and knowledge of the materials. Never has any of my customers returned disappointed from their visit to the store. After making my homeowners comfortable with their selections, the final installation is completed in a timely manner and professionally. I continue to be completely satisfied and know it's a mistake to go elsewhere for any shower, mirror or glass need. Pros: customer service, quality materials, professional installers Cons: only 1 location more

Great selection and service! 5/5/2010

I went into the store to get new glass for my cabinet doors. I was very impressed with the large selection of glass they had to choose from. The sales staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. They assisted me in choosing the perfect glass to go with decor of my home. more

Worst customer service in the industry 1/19/2010

We have had two very negative experiences with Glass and Mirror Outlet in Hopkins. The first time we worked with them they had story after story about why the delivery of a mirror kept being delayed and they ended up putting our remodel behind schedule by weeks when plumbling and fixtures could not be installed with out the mirror. Later, our glass shower door that we purchased from them spontaneously exploded, sending glass flying in all directions. They refused to stand by their product and, in fact, were going to charge $200 more than their competitors to replace the glass. Run don't walk away from doing business with this company.
