What a waste of time and money! Your Cellphone Camera WILL Take Better Picture Than Their un Enhanced Pictures Which Would Cost you Approximately $165.00 Per pose (One picture). Unless you have thousands of dollars to spend, or, you want to feel like you've been taking advantage of, I would not recommend this place. They ruined a mother and daughter bonding that was supposed to be a fun experience!! more

My gift to my kids ended up being a nightmare. They said the owner bullied them into spending more money (than one hundred seventy dollars!!) and they didn't even like the photos. YOU DO NOT GET A GLAMOUR SHOT FOR 120.00. All you get is a PICTURE. The 'GLAMOUR' is digital enhancement which costs an ADDITIONAL $65.00. They call it 'retouching.' That's not what they sold me when they happily took the money for a gift card!\r more

I was extremely disappointed with the service received at this establishment. They are so short staffed that the receptionist is also the makeup artist and photographer! Needless to say, the portraits themselves came out okay, but the pricing is ridiculous. The manager was stubborn about denying my coupon, and I had to reshoot my photos because they 'lost' them. They assured me that they could recover them and I should wait 24 hours to view them. 24 hours rolled around, and the photos they showed me were from the second shoot. Nothing from the first shoot...I would remember because I was there and used different props/fabric, etc. I was given a discount of one free print. Which they almost forgot about. Additionally, they say the reservation fee is used toward your purchase, or refunded if you don't buy anything -- not true. They offered to email me photos after making a purchase, but again - no results. I went here with my sister when I was younger -- maybe 10 years ago and I don't remember it being this bad. Before one of my only complaints was their poor application of makeup. They've clearly gone down hill since then. I advise people to hire other local photographers. You'll get better quality for your money and more courteous customer service. more

Please listen to me when I say do not go to Glamour shots in Escondido. I found a coupon online that was for free 8X10, free session and free makeover. I called because the coupon said every studio may vary. So I called to confirm that I did not have to purchase in order to use the coupon. I talked to Alesha and she said no I did not. I even phrased the question differently and she still said no. I asked if I could use a gift card for 20 dollars at the same time. She was supposed to have the owner return my call and let me know. Never happened. Called back twice and they never got me an answer. I showed up for my appt. and Justin did my hair and I was very happy. As I was walking into the studio, I must have moved my hair into a funny position but it looked like a comb over so to say the least I did not at all like my pics due to my hair. My fault!! But there was one pic I really liked and I was going to use my free sheet and then they tried to charge me any and every fee they could. I called the owner and talked to her for 30 min trying to reason with her that I had a coupon that her employee told me I could use and even though the employee admitted that she by accident gave me the wrong info she would not hold up to her end of the deal. She told me that she cant allow everyone to just get free pics which I do agree BUT if your employee gives the wrong info, I feel you should suck it up and hold up your end of the deal. I wasted 4 hours of my sunday along with my husbands to walk out with nothing. They wanted me to pay 59. for one sheet with no enhancements!! Are you crazy!!! All it was was a pic of me and my hubby kissing! I had my entire day ruined and I will never go back. I told the owner that I was going to leave a review and she said she didnt care bc nobody reads them anyways!! She cared more about being stubborn then helping an upset customer! It wasnt even a matter of he said she said, the employee said she told me what I said! You uphold your honor when that is done i feel!! Please call them and tell them if they dont care about customers then why go there??? Picture people is in the same mall and they are way cheaper..I got 9 sheets for 18 dollars! All amazing pics!! I love them! I will continue going to them, I love them!!! They are nice and no pressure like glamour shots. That is all they did to me for an hour. I hated my whole experience!! more

Although I was skeptical at first, since everyone talks about how they fake your appearance with ""airbrushing"" techniques, I decided to go in, not opt for the airbrushing, and just take professional looking photos for my business. Not only was it EXTREMELY FUN, but the results were absolutely amazing!!! By no means would I ever consider myself an attractive man (not even close to it -hahaha) but when I got my photos, I felt attractive. I felt good about myself. The staff was very professional, very fun, very good at what they do. You don't need to know how to pose, they do it all for you. If you do get a chance to have your photos taken, ask for Kim! She's great! She posed me in ways that I never knew a person can pose to make a great portrait! Needless to say, I was surprised that, even though I DID opt for a minor retouching, the photo was still me. It didn't look fake at all. The prices are reasonable, ranging from $19.95 to $5,000.00 depending on what you want. They can even turn your photo into a large (30 X 40)canvas, complete with a beautiful high quality frame! All I can say is that it was well worth it. I'm promising myself to go back at least once or twice a year. =0) Pros: Professionalism, quality portraits, fast turn-around. more
