Most friendly nail salon in Studio City 12/9/2010

I just moved here a few months ago from the other state and was looking for a nail salon that I can trust because I like to go to the same place every time. I tried a few salons on Ventura Blvd, but didn't really like any of them. However, Glamour Nails is the best. They always keep me company and all the girls are young and cool. They stay late for me and give me a five star treatment. more

the Gel Polish is awesome!!! 11/30/2010

Everyone is talking about long lasting gel colors! One day I passed by Glamour Nails and saw that they have Gelish gel polish, so I walked in and gave it a try. Wow, it was amazing! My fingernail polish lasted for more than two weeks. It costs $12 more on top of the manicure, but trust me it's all worth it. Not just the product, Glamour Nails girls do a very good job! more

When it comes to nails spa salon in the studio city, I have to say Glamour Nails is the must-try place. Their Monday and Tuesday $25 spa mani/pedi special was a real spa experience. First I thought oh no it's gonna be one of the in and out rush-you-out-of-the-chair kind of the special, but I can tell you I LOVE every moment of it. They carry OPI and essie nail polishes. The seche vite top coat they use dry in 3 minutes. Glamour Nails is a place to die for. Pros: clean, good service, reasonable price more

I ran into this place by going to one of the restaurants close by. Dont just the book by its cover! I was surprised how clean and nice the salon is when I walked in. That was not it, the mani/pedi combo was fabulous. The spa chair was comfortable. My best part was the hot-oil-lotion hand massage and the warm towels for the manicure plus the lavender sea salt scrub for the pedicure was lovely. And it was for only $28.00. All the staffs were very friendly and know what they're doing. I was very pleased with the result. Happy Happy! Want the best for your money??? Go to Glamour Nails more

The Best!!!!!!!!!!! 3/15/2008

I always eat breakfast at the Jumbin Java restaurant close by, but I was neglect to give it a try at Glamour Nails. One Sunday, my breakfast was a long wait, so I decided to have my nails done while I was waiting. At first, I was kind of hesitating to come in because I am very picky. Guess what?! I really enjoy the service. The nail techs did really take their time and completed a flawless job. The price wasnt so bad. It was like $28.00 for spa mani and ped combo. What I love the most is their hot oil spa manicure. They massage with hot oil lotion and wrap in the hot towels. It feels very relaxing. Nevertheless, the whole service was awesome. I love this place. My try was a right decision. I definitely would come back Pros: nice and cheerful atmosphere more

I have tried many salons along Ventura Blvd and I have to say this ranks at the bottom. I had an awful mani pedi. such a mess job! I prefer to go to Nail Garden when I want a quality job. It may be more expensive but you get what you pay for. Pros: no coffee or tea offered to the customers Cons: low quality more

The girls are nice and the quality is ok, but the decor is very mediocre and I don't think the rise in price is worth the changes that have been made. The salon is still very small and I feel so self conscious because people walk by and see everything. I really dont see how this place can survive with such high prices and bad location and small area. best of luck though Pros: workers are nice Cons: you have to pay for parking more

Best Waxing Service Ever!!!! 9/19/2007

I""ve been coming to this salon for years and I like it. One day I walked in and everything is so different, most of the girls there are also new. At first, I was kind of hesitate to stay because Im not comfortable having new person doing my waxing. At the end, I had decided to give them a try. Although they raised the price a little bit, but the shop looks much better and more contemporary. Anyways, I got my mani/pedi combo done and I was completely satisfied with service. Not only that, my waxing service was fantastic, the lady with the short hair is very good. With the way she waxes, you can tell that she's well-experienced and I didn't feel pain at all. After all, I guess my try was a right choice. From now on, I will come to her for waxing. She is the BOMB!!! Pros: Nice place Cons: No comment more

I used to come to this salon and enjoyed the $18 service. It is now up to $28!! I have no clue why this has happened. There is nothing luxurious about this salon. It has a different owner I think? And the walls are painted a different color. Other than that it's still a hole in the wall and I rather pay prices that fit. If i want to spend that money I'll go to a luxury salon. Best customer service ever!!! when you come to the Glamour Nails, you do not have to worry about getting rush and slopply services. Every dollar you spend here is well-worthed. The nail technicians are very happy and take their time to make sure that you walk out happy. Most of their nail polishes are OPI and Essie. That 's not all, if you upgrade to the Glamour Signature Spa Combo, you get callus remover and Lavender sea salt scrub from Creative product for both hands and feet. This lavender scrub is very very very amazing!!! this lavender scent creates such a awesome feeling that leaving sweet fragrance for such a long time after you've gotten the service. I love this combo. I highly would recommend Glamour Nails not just for the service, but also relaxing, quality work! Come and try Glamour Nails. The Best nail salon ever!!!! I've been coming to the Glamour Nails since previous ownerships. It's convenient because it's close to my house. One day, wow... I walked in i thought I was in the wrong place. They totally remodelled the whole salon and it looks much more modern and beautiful. The new girls there are much friendlier. They always smile and greet you. That's not all. Their spa mani and pedi combo is only $28, but you get hot oil spa manicure wrapped with warm towels and for pedicure you also get mint scrub that feels very refreshing and warn lotion massage. I would highly recommend this nail salon. Make your money worth it. more
