Italy in the burbs 10/24/2008

This small gem is such a find!! The bread is out of this world!! This ristorante is exactly what my wife and me dinned at in Italy. Giuseppes is great for a nice romantic night. It has the music, the wine, and the food will take you back to the old country. We eat out a lot and this place has a family touch that feels comfortable, non-stuffy and yuppied out. Its simple and fresh. the owner cooks everything and will come out and talk with you if asked. We came one night is shorts and t-shirts and another nights dressed up to rock the town. Each night we were treated the same and felt satisfied with both experiences. You have to try this place there is nothing out there that compares. more

Support a great local business 6/18/2008

I ve been to alot of italian restuarants and this one is close to my home, locally owned and makes you feel like your in italy. Pros: locally owned and semi cheap Cons: you can fill up on their bread before the meal is served so eat a little and ask to box some or better yet buy a loaf more

Fabulous Gem 5/20/2007

Unpretentious Italian food. Out of this world bread basket and fabulous food. Cozy atmosphere. We've never been disappointed and absolutely love this place! Pros: Easy to get to, lots of parking, great food and friendly service more

Great bread, excellent value overall, I love this place!! 3/20/2007

I've been a regular customer at Giuseppe's for well over 10 years and have never had a negative experience. This is my favorite restaurant for what they do --- excellent Italian. The food is fantastic and the prices are very reasonable. You'll feel like you're in Italy. Pros: Great food, very reasonable prices, courteous staff, nice bread selection Cons: Limited parking when it's busy more

Perfect Little Restaurant 11/25/2006

Giuseppe's is the best restaurant that I have been to in in nearly three years of living in the cities. The bread was fantastic, the salad and main course were top of the line and our server Ali was FANTASTIC! We were wowed by the atmosphere and the charm of the restaurant. We will definetly be returning. Pros: Entire atmosphere! Everything was top notch! Cons: Nothing! more

Delightful dining experience! 8/20/2006

Giuseppe's is a rare treasure in the north metro! The food is outstanding.... even better than some restaurants I've eaten at in Italy! The lunch specials are very reasonably priced and delicious! The pastas and sauces are all home-made and the ingredients taste extremely fresh. The owners are genuine, attentive, and complete the true Italian dining experience! Pros: Delicious food, authentic cooking, friendly owners more

I love this place 3/19/2006

You would never know this place is here if it were not pointed out to you. Very friendly staff. The food is out of this world! The home made bread is a true treat, you can even place an order for it 24 hours in advance to take home. The smaller seating area only adds to the exceptional experience. Pros: owners, food, bread more

Old-School 2/11/2006

Giuseppe's in an old-school hole-in-the-wall with impeccable ambiance and quality that is hard to come by. Everything on the menu is home made. All entrees come with a basket of fresh Italian bread that has little treats like pepperoni baked into it. The marinara sauce is unlike anything you will ever find at a chain restaurant. If you are a vegetarian, you will have no problem finding something on their menu. They also have a diverse menu of imported and domestic beer and a variety of Italian wines. The service is excellent. The owners are very friendly and will come to your table to thank you for stopping in. They even gave us complimentary donuts. Highly reccommended. Pros: Great Service, High Quality Food, Great Wines Cons: Hard to Find, Ran out of Bread more

Cute neighborhood eatery 8/6/2005

Giuesppe's is a darling, hole-in-wall, neighborhood place that might seat about 40-50 people. The ambience is clearly a slice of Italy and the food is like good home cookin'. The service is good, friendly and accomodating. If you're looking for a casual, feel good sort of dining experience - without any frills, this is the place to go. They pride themselves on using fresh ingredients, so they may run out of things during the evening. Try the tiramisu for dessert - it's one of the best I've ever had! Pros: inexpensive, cute atmosphere, free parking Cons: nothing special more
