Girard's service man, Ryan, did a fantastic job of replacing our 24 year old garage doors with the newest top of the line product. He was very pro- fessional,neat, and personable. Highly recommended. more

Very Happy 12/14/2014

Our tech, Ryan, removed the old doors and openers and installed 2 doors and 2 openers very quick. Our old doors looked awful and the wires were all over the place. Ryan neatly routed the wires and left us with a nice clean look. more

Great Service 12/11/2014

Had a spring break and called Girard's. Ryan was at my house within the hour and went above and beyond to get my problem fixed. He explained everything required, performed the service exactly as explained, and did it in a timely manner. He was very knowledgeable and professional, and I couldn't be happier with the results. I highly recommend Girard's for all garage door services! more

Years of dependable service. 12/9/2014

Girard's Garage Door Services always provides great service. The strength of this company lies in its crew of highly skilled technicians and office staff. Over the past ten years we have had GDS install a new Lift Master opener and some replacement parts. On the occasions we needed repairs the technicians were able to diagnose the problem within minutes of entering the garage. Their service trucks are fully stocked with parts. There are no surprises when the bill is presented. The cost of the work is quoted up front before the installation or repair begins. We have never had to wait more than one day for service. In one emergency situation a repairman came within hours. Our garage door gets a lot of wear and tear since we use it as our main entrance. It is good to know that GDS will be there when we need them and will do the job right. more

Called for a same day appointment. Received prompt, courteous service from Michael, who fixed the problem with our garage door and corrected several other problems. I would highly recommend Girard's to everyone I know and will certainly use them again in the future. more

Less than 24hrs notice 11/7/2014

Our garage door had stopped working correctly so I went to the business that I had purchased it from, which was Sears. As soon as the tech arrived and saw that one of our springs was broken, he was quick to say, "Oh, we don't fix those." That being at 3:30pm, we called Girard's and they had someone here by 9:00 a.m. the next day. Girard's had sent a gentleman named Nigel who was very professional and very knowledgable. He repaired and adjusted our system in an hour. Their costs are extremely reasonable. I highly recommend this business. more

One of the springs in my garage door had broken. I looked through the Lansdale Yellow Pages and saw the full-page ad for Girard's. I gave them a call and was told a serviceman would be there the next day. Mike called me before arriving and told me he would be at my home in 10 minutes. He was very personable and knowledgeable. Since my door is 18 years old, he said besides the broken spring, the other one should be replaced as well as a number of other parts. He also advised me of the cost ahead of doing the work. I basically have a new garage system. Besides that, it is much quieter. He was finished everything in no time. I would definitely recommend Girard's to anyone. more

Excellent! 10/31/2014

I had my garage door openers replaced 10/29/14. I never imagined new openers would make me so happy!! Now my doors glide quietlly along-ahhhhhh. The technician, Blair, was fabulous. He knew the products well and reccommended exactly what I needed. Service was at the time I was promised and very professional. I highly reccommend this company. more

Called for service late one morning and Ryan was at my house that same day. Did a professional and quick spring replacement. Also pointed out and recommended some needed door reinforcement which was also quickly done at a small additional cost. The work was done about 4 months ago and I haven't had any problems since. Highly recommended. more

Once called, the estimator came on the same day. Order the part and office was considerate to send the staff to replace/fix the garage door in timely manner. Work was more than satisfactory and will call again without hesitation if need arise. more

Outstanding service by Ryan! 10/22/2014

My garage door was opening and shutting at will. I called and Ryan was sent to evaluate the situation. He did a complete review of the problem and considering the age of the opener, his recommendation was to have a new one installed. His professionalism and demeanor are to be commended. He is polite, courteous and very personable. This was the second time Ryan worked on my garage and his skills and knowledge are to be commended. The service was outstanding. Very pleased. more

New liftmaster premium garage door opener 10/21/2014

I called Girard's and they sent a service man out to look at the door which only works sporadically . Ryan was very knowledgeable in helping, so it was easy for me to make a decision. I had the my old system replaced with the LiftMaster premium door opener. I was so glad I called this company. My door is operating like new. Thank you Ryan. Definitely would call Girard's again. more

Had a very old garage door set up. Called Girard on Monday morning. Ryan was here in the afternoon and completed in an hour. He replaced all the old hardware and the door is like new. more

Called on Friday October 3rd, tech showed next day more or less on time, but was not expecting to find what he did. So, I received a written estimate ( ref number 96020) with a note indicating a return on October 6 between 4 and 6 PM. **** no show, no call *** despite office indicating otherwise on the morning of 6th.. I had to call (at 5:30) and heard back peddling about why service would not occur. Lucky me - I took time off of work so I could be frustrated. Poor communication. Poor follow through. Zero consideration for the time of others. And troubleshooting via cell phone pictures to further tell me why they couldn't meet their commitment. Nice........ more

OUTSTANDING !!! 9/26/2014

We had a garage door problem this morning with a broken spring causing both our cars to be locked inside the garage. Luckily Girard's emergency service was able to get to us in a few hours. Mike D., the technician, was truly great. He explained all the options available to get the door repaired. We decided on the Overhaul option and Mike was quick to respond with excellent service fixing our door and explaining everything that he did along with the warranty. He was very professional and proceeded to do an excellent job. Thanks again for the quick response. more

The experience was awesome from the time I called in the AM & explained to Christina that our car went threw the garage door and destroyed the garage door to late in the PM when the garage door was finished being installed by Ryan & Mike. Ryan & Mike were knowledgeable, professional and did a Fantastic Job. I will definitely recommend Girard Garage Service to family & friends. more
