GigaParts is not a bad company by any means. I have bought from them numerous times and have never been felt "screwed" on a purchase. There have been a few occasions in which one of the employees (whilst attempting a sale) gave me completely incorrect information concerning the product and it's capabilities-if I was not as tech savvy as I am, I imagine that my feelings would be slightly different. I do not attribute these flaws to the store per se, as it is an environment in which a perceived lack of knowledge endangers job security; this being said, the management is nonetheless obligated to ensure customers' satisfaction, and this includes making sure that employees are educated about their (or similarly related) products. Besides some of the employees trying to sell me (knowingly?) items that they knew little to nothing about, my experiences have relatively fair. I love Gigaparts. I've never had a bad experience. Not a good experience 3/10/2008

I bought some RAM for my computer from this store. It caused my computer to blue-screen when I powered it on. I took the RAM back to them the very next day and they wouldn't exchange it. They told me that it "might" be defective, but they would have to test it first. Ok, no problem there. But they wanted to CHARGE me to test the RAM that I bought just the previous day. No way. I took it to another store and they tested it for free. They confirmed that it was in fact defective. I took it back to gigaparts immediately and told them what the other store told me. They said they would still have to test it and, gasp, they would charge me for the test. Pros: Was in a good location before they moved. Cons: They tend to lie too much. more
